I was just looking over at YouTube and I came across this one...... 8)

Great song, why didn't this song do anything? I mean it was 1998 and Steve sounded great! :P

Can anyone tell me why this song got lost somewhere? :?

TB... the ROR tour documentary dvd (copied from a late night CBS TV special) is as close to a concert show of the ROR tour as Journey fans will have, I'm afraid. I think you might be able to piece together excerpts of it on YT. Must have been an hour show, since the dvd lasts about 50 minutes (deleting all the commercials).

He sounds like a martian. :lol: It was the greatest for it's time but I bet he could bring it up to date in big way now. I have no doubt that he could give all those hits a new lease on life with the voice he has now.



Switch from your video to the video of "You Better Wait" and you can appreciate the wonderful mature quality his vocals aquired.

Hard to pick one but there is something about the way he looks at the camera in "Stilll They Ride" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jubogiBaUhQ). There is a poignant melancholy or sadness in his eyes and facial expressions in this one - like he is truly living out the song. Maybe Jon Cain was right when he said that SP bled a little every time he sang - you can see it on this one.

the extended Oh Sherrie video is great.
When You Love a Woman is also really well done... It's another example of him feeling the song... His eyes are haunting in that video.
Shaving the moustache in Faithfully speaks for itself.
