I read that book too. It was definitely a quick read and pretty interesting. I like Keef. I like the Stones well enough. But the guy is pretty much a screw up at life. The stuff with his boy going out on the road with him at (I think) 7 and just the way Keef lived his life are pretty irresponsible. He's lucky that he's alive. SO much of the book dealt with where and how Keef could get his next fix... There were some funny anecdotes having to do with Keef, the cops, and drugs. But had he been smarter about it, he'd have a lot less trouble. Taking a convertible through the South US with a car full of dope- after being told not to... that's just stupid. Glad he's clean now. The most interesting parts for me where the parts where he discovered the Open G tuning that he uses. That was very cool to read about. I thought he was pretty crappy to Mick and definitely Wyman. He seems to really love Charlie Watts as a musician, but I've always found Charlie's drumming very much the same song after song after song and I don't think I've heard him do anything that great, though I've not heard his jazz stuff and he is, afterall a jazz drummer at heart. Maybe just that I haven't heard his innovative Stones stuff. Sounds like Brian Jones was a complete a-hole that earned him a serious karmaic payback.

read it... loved it... great read and better stories all through out the book... I loved KEEF's coined phrase LVS... hmm where have we heard that around in journeyland...almost about the same time too... those who read the book will know what I mean... its a MUST read for Rock and Roll fans... I tried to read the Jimmy Paige bio and that sucked...
