JEFF SCOTT SOTO & JOE SATRIANI on KNAC.COM Mon. Jan. 10!

Postby SunshineTwilight » Mon Jan 10, 2011 5:05 am

Two legends will be featured this coming Monday, January 10, when KNAC.COM's Junkman fires up his show at 3pm.

Around 4pm (Pacific Time), legendary singer, Jeff Scott Soto will be coming by the studio with ZO2 frontman Paulie Z for a visit, and who knows...maybe perform some live music?

Then, at 6pm, legendary guitarist, Joe Satriani checks in on the phone.

No offense, but Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Steve Perry, Robert Plant, Jeff Beck, are legends. Jeff Scott Soto...not hardly.

Nothing personal against JSS. But I literally laughed out loud when I saw JSS being referred to as a legend.

I don't know if I even consider Satriani to be a legend, and he's 10-times the legend that JSS is.

Actually, the advert was written by KNAC.com, not JSS or JSS Promotions, just FYI!

I didn't think that JSS wrote it himself.

For me, too. I've been listening to JSS for 1/3 of my life, so for me, legendary status doesn't require consensus by the general unschooled public.

True dat. 80% of these posers wouldn't know Jeff Scott Soto from Jason Scott Lee if he wasn't in Journey for that nanosecond....this is what is funny to me.

Same thing with Augeri....Journey put Tyketto and Tall Stories on the map....

Actually more people probably know him from his time with Yngwie than his time in Journey. Just saying............for those peeps that choose their music by popularity. :P
