Glad you weren't delusional enough to add the NHL to your list  Then I'd say you are REALLY getting old!!

The thing is, The Patriots are NOT going to win the Super Bowl, Duke will lose in the NCAA's, The Red Sox will falter again, and of all things said, the Bruins IMO, will be in the finals, but they too will lose.

Sorry Lynn, your Pens aren't going to win the Cup let alone the Conference.

New England better win the title for the sake of Pats fans. The Patriots have done a great job into battering in their already arrogant fanbase that they are the team that is unbeatable. Thing is, they are more beatable than that 2007 year & if the Pats happen to get their ass's kicked from any point forward, it's going to be a very down to Earth and humbling feeling for Pats fans, esp one who predicts a 38-10 romp every week. It will certainly be one big, loud, and thunderous THUD.

So you think I may be crazy? :P  I just think that the Pens are always unpredictable. They have NO consistency and it works against them. They are either really good, and on a winning streak, or really bad and on a losing streak  All in the same season! I just figure that they could just as easily win the conference since this season is no different than the one they DID win! This one is probably better

You obviously didn't get my Lynnie Joel smack....(edit- You DID get it!)

IMHO, in the East, PGH, WAS, BOS and PHI can all win it, as well as MTL.

In the West, I see only two clubs in VAN and DET.

The Pens IMHO are pretty consistent......Hell they have 56 points.....They are good on both sides of the rink. I just see Boston as the team who will do it...they are resilent as all Hell.

Yep I did! The Pens DID beat the Canadiens last night which made me VERY happy!!! That was without Crosby I believe too. I guess I just see them get killed by a team one month, and then next time they do the killing. They can have a great period, and then the blow it at the end! They drive me crazy sometimes! I would like to see a Pens/Bruins match up!

Dopey post, young lad. You seriously believe any Patriots' fan on the planet (aside from Mr. "Hey, that was a penalty that wasn't called") believes that this team is invincible? Contrary to your belief, people outside of Pittsburgh watch football and know what's going on. Considering that an undefeated Patriots team lost the Super Bowl, I'm reasonably certain that no Patriots fan needs to be convinced that winning any game is a guarantee. The Patriots should absolutely defeat the Jets this week, because they're simply a better team. That doesn't mean the Jets have no shot and can't win the game.

You make a good point. Don't tell me Chicago fan isn't grippingf a little too hard this weekend with Seattle coming in, having just beat New Orleans and already have beaten the Bears this year......trust me, Chicago is anything but confident.

Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

Not worried a bit. No one in Chicago is. Most consider it another bye week. Seattle sucks. The NFL season is a long and tough one, and considering the Bears played Green Bay and Minnesota twice, the Jets, the Giants, Patriots and the Eagles, it's no surprise that we had a mid-season hiccup and lost to 2 shitty teams in the Seahawks and Redskins. Coincidentally, those 2 losses were Cutler's first 2 games back from a concussion and he was pretty bad. They finished the season 7-2 after those back to back losses and beat the Eagles, Vikings and Jets and also won at Buffalo and Miami. No excuses this weekend. The Bears will win by at least 14.

Obviously the post was directed to S2M  I'm not sure if you come in contact with any of your kind elsewhere JFB, but you may be the only sensible Pats fans out there or atleast that I know of. The rest has the attitude of S2M while the other side of the fanbase has the attitude of Seven Wishes. I'm a regular on NFL message boards and N.E fans come in there everyday proving their worth on why they are the most hated fanbase around. Not because their team wins, but only because their so cocky it's pathetic. Some guy came in today and started a thread titled "Bow down to the high and mighty Patriots, you have no chance."
