Nah, you're never boring Lynn.

Lynn is awesome. You can't find a friendlier, nicer and more wholesome person than LA, who I might add, may be nice to you, and then drop a "go fuck yourself" scud on you a minute later.

What a great tour that was. Can't decide if that concert was the best I've attended or the Boston tour in '94.

Both were great!

One of the very best ballads in the history of popular music, in my opinion and it's not just a boy/girl thing, either, but about the longing in everyone for something more.

Oh you are SO lucky to have seen it! I was in Japan (and not mainland, on Okinawa where NO ONE came during their tours :( ) and never got to see one show from that tour, never got to see Steve live.

You cannot be serious. I thought you conservative religeous folks in Indiana stayed off drugs? :) It's such a great song, the band won't even play it live anylonger.

Lou's my favorite singer of all-time and he has such a soulful voice that turns what's already a well-written song into a masterpiece. I think the liner notes for "The Very Best...And Beyond" even say that Sting, who had apparently bad-mouthed Foreigner early on, heard them recording this in the studio and dropped what he was doing to listen to this song.

Journey? Beloved? Not by me Sweetheart.

Not to beat this dead horse into the ground MCE, but it was Schon himself that first alerted me to DL miming. I would much rather see them live instead of Journey(for obvious reasons), but it still doesn't change the fact that Joe is lipping. hey, who cares, right? You enjoy it, enjoy it!

I hate arguing with you and LMA...you are both so nice AND you DID bring man Doll intpo our lives. he is right here next to me as I type this post. Fuck he is ugly as sin.

Here he is...Thanks again MCE and LMA.

Here is Man Doll with brother Wyatt, his mamma, and uncle Dan. MD rules.

I prefer live performance videos best. But with that said, I tried to include some old faves of mine that have a little bit more than just the band playing.

Ricky, you ever look the word, "oxymoron" up in the dictionary?

LOL, how can you say they are awesome live, when they aren't live? I better quit now before MCE just says, "screw it" and straps it on and buttfucks me til I'm blue. This Lippard stuff really heats her up.

No it doesn't  I was just saying that if it's true for the entire show then it's pretty amazing considering the roughness that's actually heard quite a bit.

While not fully versed in Leppard Lipping 101, I do not think they lip the entire show, and having said that, maybe their sound guy learned from Journey....to not make it sound too good, as to get the ire of a certain music website on your ass.

Chris DeGarmo wrote this song. He was one of the founding members of the band. Sadly, no longer with them. He's a pilot now.

Tesla ~ Signs

Love live performance vids, one of my faves!

And gosh doesn't Tesla's drummer look awfully familiar.......... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LfPh6ev2kRo

Speaking of Tesla, Little Suzi has always been one of my fave videos of theirs. It's just a fun performance vid, and I just absolutely totally dug Jeff's vocal tone/timbre or whatever it's called, back then. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2pYCz6hI-I Another fave was Getting Better http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyMuq8qPmwQ

Jeff and Eric used to sound very similar back then, but not digging Jeff's voice quite as much these days though, those killer raspy rock voices can usually go one of two ways, soulful or high/chipmunky. EM's is still quite soulful, but most of the clips I've heard from Tesla lately, Jeff's vocals have been a little too scratchy for me. They still kick ass though. :)

BTW, how do you guys name the links you post?? :?
