Well, the quality of the answers is directly proportional to the quality of the questions - some of the questions were good, though most were the same silly stuff. Why would someone (stalker) ask him about his favourite amusement park food?

I thought it was interesting that he has been asked to be a guest judge on AI and turned it down, because he didn't want to cast judgment on another's dream of performing. Instead of judging, I would rather see him as a mentor, coaching the singers through their performances. He didn't say he thought Glee performances were wonderful, just that they exposed new generations of listeners to great classic rock. The fact that he was willing to admit he wants to be romantically involved with someone, but isn't sure if that will happen, is one of the most personal things he's actually ever said in an interview.

I really wanted to know what that amazing pickup line was - I'm never going to meet the guy, but I wonder if it would work on someone else or if it was specific to Steve.

A lot of people said ill of that Q&A, but I actually thought it was the best he's ever done. Go figure. I thought he was as forthright and open as I've ever heard. Maybe I need to revisit the older ones.

I thought it was a pretty good one too - many of the questions were not ones I would have asked, but he made some nice points with what he was given. One thing no one has commented on is that he came right out and said he was not interested in performing with Journey again.

Steve also needs to write a cookbook - that halibut sounded amazing and I would love his mother's recipe for banana spice cake too. If he ever sets up his website, I'm hoping for a recipe section! I've been trying new recipes lately (mostly for soups) and there is nothing more discouraging than going through all of the work, time, and expense and the end result is horrible.

I guess I was disappointed, but not surprised at the Q & A. Most of the questions selected were softballs and none of the answers really broke any new ground. The only thing this confirms for me is he'll never record again. He just seems to be sort of a head case who can't bring himself to pull the trigger on either going for it and recording new music, or admitting he can't or won't for whatever reason and moving on. We love ya Steve, but seriously it's time to make a decision and move on.

Notice how when asked about him being in a relationship that he never referred to the person as "she", or "her"? Go read what he posted again and you'll see he cleverly skirts around it. He's so private and secretive. Never gets seen with women out in public, and while out and about is usually alone... Hmmm. Oh yeah, and his favorite hobby is planting flowers. 8)

I appreciate the fact that he took the time to do another Q&A. He isn't promoting anything and likes to remain private, so it was pretty nice of him!

So what's wrong with that? Some of my best friends.................

When I first listened to "For The Love Of Strange Medicine," I thought it was a "Message Of Love" to his fans.

What secret is not worth keeping? Why is someone the king of pretenders and why did he have no faith that we/she would still believe?

Who gives a crap anyway? It's been hinted at for years. I admit that it was my first thought when I heard and saw Journey's 70 music. I even thought that it is what makes him so great as a incrediably sensitive vocalist and gave him his sexy stage presence that even the guys, if they will be honest, got addicted to.

It's only my impression but if it is a secret, it is not worth keeping and the truth shall set you free. Live, love and be happy and take time to smell the flowers you plant and I hope that we all win the love we seek.

I loved it, some of the questions were funny and his answers were just as funny. He comes across as well rounded and happy as well as very insightful... BTW maybe he should use that GOOD pick up line on his love wish it just might work

Oh yeah, and his favorite hobby is planting flowers. 8)

And just WHAT are you insinuating here Jim......

Who MEEEEEE? I'm not saying... I'm just SAYING.

So maybe "Sherrie" was really a "Harry" ?

We've seen enough of Sherrie to know she wasn't a guy! And what's wrong with a guy planting flowers? Some of my favourite redneck relatives are Alberta farmers - it's just gardening on a grander scale.

And? Elton John was married to a woman at one point too. Hell, even Freddie Mercury dated women! 8)

Yes, I do know there was a Sherrie! I was just making jokes. We won't make you change your screen name to Harryberry quite yet ;)

 I'm not sure Jim knows Sherrie was a girl - maybe he thinks it was a skinny guy in drag. My name really is Sherri though - nothing to do with the Sherrie from the video!

I give you the following - the '79 performance of LTS on The Midnight Special. Check out 1:30 - out of all of the pretty women in the audience, SP zeroes in on the one with the biggest rack wearing a tank top! Typical hetero guy behaviour and you can spot Neal in the back looking like he wishes his guitar wasn't plugged in!
