US actor Charlie Sheen has been taken to hospital in Los Angeles with severe abdominal pains, his publicist says.

Publicist Stan Rosenfield gave no other details of the 45-year-old's condition.

But the celebrity news website TMZ reported Mr Sheen was taken by ambulance from his home following an early morning emergency call.

Mr Sheen currently stars in the popular TV comedy Two and a Half Men. He also starred in the films Wall Street, Major League and Platoon.

His father, Hollywood star Martin Sheen, mother, and ex-wife were with him at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, TMZ reported.

Charlie Sheen filed for divorce from his third wife, Brooke Mueller, in November, citing irreconcilable differences.

In late October 2009 the actor was accused of causing damage to a hotel room in New York. After hotel security reported Mr Sheen was disorderly, the actor voluntarily went with authorities for a psychiatric evaluation.

However, Mr Sheen's publicist said the actor had gone to hospital because he had "an adverse allergic reaction to some medication".

When I used to slum it at the Home Depot in Newbury Park/Thousand Oaks, CA, Charlie and Denise would always come in. We developed a relationship of sorts. I used to work in paint, and was always either fucking up or giving people shitty advice

. Anyway, Charlie overheard me swearing under my breath about some asshole customer, and he said "dude, you ok? Having a bad day?" And without looking I said, what's it look like Einstien? I was ready to walk out, then I saw him and immediately apologized. I instantly chatted up Major League, and he dug that. I was reciting lines through and through, and Denise had gone to look at a tool shed...I told Charlie, "Fuck this place, go to Lowe's for a better selection." He laughed and went and got Denise and yes, they went to Ventura Lowes and got their shed. He was alays cool to me. In fact, Denise would always bring me a cappuccino when they came in. I dig Charlie and love his old man, Martin. I saw that old fuck once at the Off track facility in Ventura, and I said, Hello President Bartlett...he didn't dig that shit at all. :twisted:

Charlie Sheen isn't long for this world. I'm stunned the dude is still alive. One of the reasons his sitcom is so damn funny is that the dude isn't even acting. It's truly the life he lives and I'm afraid it's going to catch up with him at some point.

fuckin' Deano with the stories - somehow I believe this...I used to live in Thousand Oaks (Jokes) and it wasn't terribly uncommon to see someone famous (I saw Nikki Six at the Best Buy in TO). But I never found myself in conversation with him...

That said - what the fuck did Charles' do to himself this time? Abdominal pains? Drinking too much? Is he still doing hard stuff at this age? hahahaha...well shit then, as they say hookers and blow..hope he comes through - interesting how Denise is still by his side threw the recent events. Anyone reading anything into that??

Stories? Dude, I wish they were made up! I got my DUI on Thousand Oaks Blvd leaving the Other Place, right by the 23 FWY overpass...I tried to ditch TO's finest in a Honda Accord...they laughed at me. I had to go to Simi subdivision station and get booked :oops:

The cop laughed at me,,saying "dude, they warned you not to drive!", which is true.....I was warned, but thought I coud outsmart those cockpickles! Um, nope. Busted! I tried to hop the curb in my Accord and the car high centered...oops....

That place is a nice place to live though.

Debauched actor Charlie Sheen slipped quietly out of a Los Angeles hospital, with friends of the hard-partying star sneaking him past the press and paparazzi, according to a report Friday.

The syndicated entertainmment program "Extra" said Sheen departed Cedars-Sinai Medical Center under cover of the night around 10 p.m. Thursday.

"I'm not dying," a source quoted Sheen as saying, according to "Extra." The actor did not require surgery, the program reported, and the source insisted drugs were not involved.

Sheen was hospitalized Thursday following an epic party in his $8 million Beverly Hills home, a blowout complete with porn stars and a briefcase filled with cocaine, entertainment websites said.

The wild scene was an amped-up replay of his fall meltdown at New York's Plaza hotel, a booze-and-blow party that landed the oft-rehabbed Sheen in a Manhattan psychiatric unit.

A Sheen spokesman said "severe abdominal pains" prompted the 911 call, and a pal told "Extra" he aggravated a hiatal hernia by laughing too hard at the TV.

TMZ.com reported that Sheen, on hiatus this week from the CBS sitcom "Two and a Half Men," began partying Tuesday.

At one point, a designer briefcase containing "bricks" of cocaine was delivered to the house, the site said.

There were already four women there when he had a friend call porn star Kacey Jordan, 22, to join the bash Wednesday afternoon, Radar Online reported.

"It's officially 24 hours of drinking! Hehe," Jordan later posted on her Twitter page, saying she'd consumed two bottles of vodka, a bottle of wine, a pint of whisky, and beer.

She also uploaded a risqué photo of herself in a bikini and boasted her "life has changed."

The X-rated actress, who has hired a lawyer, reportedly left hours before paramedics came. Porn pal Melanie Rios, 19, was still there for the 911 call from the house, Radar reported.

Neighbor Dr. Paul Nassif and wife Adrienne Maloof-Nassif, a star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," told People.com theye called paramedics after receiving a frantic call from Sheen's house.

Nassif urged the caller to dial 911. Radar Online reported the doctor said Sheen was "not alert."

Sheen, 45, was wheeled out on a stretcher with a towel over his face, paramedics checking his vitals and two women in tow, reports said. TV's highest-paid actor was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Soon after, his parents, actor Martin Sheen and Janet Templeton, and ex-wife Denise Richards showed up. Richards is the mother of Sheen's daughters, Sam, 6, and Lola Rose, 7.

Asked about a porn-and-drug orgy, Sheen's flack, Stan Rosenfield, told TMZ, "I can't comment because I have no idea if it's true. You choose to believe your source. I don't."

Sheen's latest troubles come three months after a reported booze-and-cocaine fueled rampage at The Plaza hotel landed him in a Manhattan hospital.

Porn star Capri Anderson, 22, claimed Sheen trashed his hotel suite and choked her. He was not charged, but the incident prompted him to briefly hire a live-in sobriety coach, who was fired before New Year's Eve.

Since then, Sheen has spent $26,000 on hookers and cocaine during a Las Vegas getaway two weeks ago, according to Radar Online.

The actor's behavior has alarmed his CBS bosses and on Wednesday, Sheen's co-star Jon Cryer half-jokingly explained to talk-show host Conan O'Brien what it was like to work with him. "It's always a little weird because like the stuff you hear is just unbelievable," Cryer said. "I mean like ...I'm checking TMZ, as I do every day, to know if I have to go to work at all," Cryer said.

Charlie Sheen has entered rehab, his rep tells EW. “Charlie Sheen has voluntarily entered an undisclosed rehabilitation center today. He is most grateful to all who have expressed their concern. CBS also released a statement saying Two and a Half Men will go on production hiatus, following the news. “We are profoundly concerned for his health and well-being, and support his decision,” the network says in a statement.
The actor was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital Thursday with “severe abdominal pains.” His rep blamed “a hernia condition.” He was released later that evening. Earlier this month, Sheen reportedly went on a bender with porn stars in Las Vegas, leading CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler to address Sheen’s health at a press conference: “We have a high level of concern. How can we not?” she said. EW previously reported that reps from CBS and Warner Bros. Television approached the star with a plan to temporarily halt production so he could seek professional help; Sheen initially had turned down the offer.

I love this dude. This is exactly how I would live the Hollywood life, minus the kids. Not fair to leave them fatherless, but that's how I would roll without them. This dude is doing it right and he'll be fine. 45 years old is about time to slow down and quit the blow. Stick to booze and hookers, though. Those are staples.

I'd be curious to see if Jon Cryer could at least handle one episode solo, like a "missing Charlie" scenario. Cryer plays the buffoon as well as Sheen plays the playa.

All of Deanos stories remind me of the "one time in band camp" line from American Pie...you sit the absolutely convinced that it is just going to be another story then he drops the "I stuck a flute in my pussy" line and you are off to the races, hilarity ensues, and though at time you feel the believability streched to the point of "NO FUCKING WAY" you look Deano in the eyes and just know its all fucking true!

just read slash's book a while back and a lot of the aging rock stars have moved on from cocaine,heroin and basically real hard stuff and he said a lot of 'em now like nikki sixx,slash,etc. were doing pain pills.in fact slash said he was really heavily into that the last few years and nikki said something about that being his drug of choice now too.being that these guys are hitting 50 they will live a lot longer laying off the blow.in fact cocaine is what killed john estwistle of the who and they found him dead before a gig in vegas.blow also killed one of the guys who sang with the righteous brothers too and i think that was before a live show also.both of those guys were in their sixties or older still doing cocaine.in fact i think it killed ike turner too.charlie needs to lay off the blow and pop a few vikes and chill.
