Big Mac or Whopper ?

Does anyone have 5 guys? (That sounds like an orgy) They are the best we have around here I think. And their fries are fresh cut potatoes! And they have vinegar on the side for them. Kind of like fries you get at a festival or fair.

We have another one called "Back Door Burger",and they hand press their burgers also, and are pretty good too. They aren't very close to my house though, so I only get them once in a while.

I do like the Angus burgers from McD too. But I also say no mayo. I like mayo on it, but not the calories!!

I LOVED 5 Guys when I used to eat meat...you know, all of 2 months ago (hehe). I like how they have where the potatoes for the fries come from-it's not so cool when I go to the 5 Guys here at home when it says "Today's potatoes are from Rigby, ID" But when I'm somewhere else and I go there and see that it's cool! People think I'm weird when I get all excited and say "Rigby is 15 minutes from my house!!!!"

You'll have to look for it. I don't know if all of them have it or not-I've only been in a few but all of them I've seen have a white board on the wall by the register that says "Today's potatoes are from:" I think they pride themselves on only using Idaho potatoes and since most of the potatoes in Idaho are grown in the part of Idaho where I live it's usually somewhere really close to my house. Yeah, it doesn't take much to amuse me!

Dairy Queen has a burger called the "Ultimate" that's great. It has two beef patties, two slices of American cheese, pickles, onions, tomato, lettuce, bacon and a sauce that is very similar to Big Mac sauce.

I loved Big Macs even as a little kid, but the first few times I had Burger King whoppers as a kid they literally made me throw-up. But when I hit my teens I started to love them. I always loved Burger King's bacon-double-cheeseburgers.

Carl's Jr Super Star rules ass. Wendy's double meat with cheese also kicks ass. As Behshad mentioned, the Angus burger from Macs is insanely good.

However, NOTHING beats a Double Double from In and Out, NOTHING. Those who have enjoyed one will not argue. The only problem is In and Out is only in California.

In and out has been in phoenix for years, I think its more of a west coast thing.

Is it really? I never knew that! I worked there, and I had to put the burgers on a conveyor belt thing that pushed them through open flames to cook them. On a belt that looks like a grill, so it gets the marks I guess. But I never thought about it. I just assumed the taste was from the broiler I was placing it on. But your RIGHT!! That smoky charcoaled flavor is missing on any gas grill! There is no charcoal involved, so it makes sense!

I don't like either and stay as far away from places like that as possible, lol, but B I did try one of those angus burgers you had talked about the last time I was there months ago with co-workers, and it was really good! I got the mushroom/swiss one, but asked for NO mayo when one of the girls told me they put a metric ton of it on there, ick!

Agreed, lol. I don't get the lettuce and tomato thing either though, they get all warm and soggy, yuck! But then again that's the only way some people actually get a "salad", lol.

And it's only $5.99! The oatmeal is plain old Quaker Oats, but if you ask for a side of the fat free yogurt they put in the crepe or just spoon some out of the crepe, it even makes the oatmeal really good.
