tire shopping

Postby ebake02 » Fri Feb 11, 2011 7:34 am

I 'm shopping for new tires for my car. Tire Rack has gotten a little expensive since the last time I shopped there, anybody know about other reliable tire website out there?

I know people that have had good experiences at Walmart. In and out, and at a very competitive price.

Gateway ...do you have one?!? They are incredibly sweet and will repair your tires free of charge, even
if you didn't purchase them @Gateway ...also, fill your tires with nitrogen!

Website?!? Don't buy your tires online!!

If your a member of Costco, you probably won't find cheaper tires at any other retailer in America, including Wal-Mart. They also often have a $70.00 off of 4 tires coupon. I always buy my tires there, because I'm never able to find a lower price.

Discount tire and other tire retailers sometimes have "pull offs". These are tires that have been taken off of cars or trucks, whose owners have upgraded to bigger or better tires. Sometimes you can find almost new tires this way for a whole lot less than retail new ones.

I go to Discount Tire 95% of the time just because they're fast and reliable, not to mention awesome prices. They fix flats for free as well

Same here. I also get the road hazard warranty. My wife needs solid rubber tires or something. She can't miss a nail.

I've only done that once and, unfortunately, it was in the side wall and it was on a set of oversized truck tires.

Now that I think about, the tires were fairly new, so I only had to replace the back two.
