Oh, oo.
Oo, baby.
I love cookin' with honey.
I love to make you feel funny.
I love the way you do.
I want, I want it with you, yeah.
Homemade love, jelly roll love.
Homemade love.

I need a jelly roll sweetie.
Now, spread it oh spread it on me, babe.
Feels so good, on the top.
Spread it around, baby, till I drop ya'.
Homemade love, hot jelly roll love.
Homemade love.

Oh, baby, oh baby,
I know you love it.
Homemade love, oh, baby.
I know you love it.
So love it.

Homemade love.

Oo, smokin',
Oo, baby, you're burnin'

Oo, baby, it's boilin', ah.

Yeah that song is a song about masturbation, as is be good to yourself . You would have thought that those guys gould pull enough chicks not to do that stuff. I guess they just prefer a quick release sometimes (except for steve perry , who if he likes a quick release certainly doesnt apply the concept to releasing an album. :D

They're almost disturbing.

Very! I mean, jelly roll??  And it's in there SIX times!
Drugs it had to be the drugs...

Yeah the lyrics on that are terrible, but it is a great tune...

I agree with this. I used to like the song until I realized he was saying "Hot jelly roll love". I wasn't able to listen to it afterwards. :? :(

What IS jelly roll love?

According to a friend who is a retired roadie, it's seventies slang for very young (read 'questionably legal') groupies. Which really puts this song in the ick basket for me.
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

I think it's a very indepth analysis of the presense of temptation in the humble Christian's life; a commentary on the battle between innate desire, instinct and the mechanics of gratifications necessary for survival vs. the modesty and restraint imposed by modern-day society.

I'm not a big fan of the way they end "Stone in Love" live ... (I'm crazy crazy 'bout you baby ... so Stone in Love...). There HAS to be a better way to end such a great song.
