FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ICONIC ROCK FRONTMAN SEBASTIAN BACH INKS WITH FRONTIERS RECORDS WORLDWIDE FOR MULTI-ALBUM DEAL

BACH HEADED IN TO STUDIO THIS MONTH FOR SUMMER 2011 RELEASE

(New York, NY) – Italian label Frontiers Records is proud to announce the signing of golden-voiced, iconic rock frontman Sebastian Bach to an exclusive worldwide, multi-album recording contract. Bach will head in to the studio later this month with his new young virtuosic guitarist Nick Sterling to record a brand new album. Producer Bob Marlette (Black Sabbath, Shinedown, Atreyu, Filter) will be at the helm. On the drums will be the incomparable Bobby Jarzombek (Halford, Riot, Iced Earth) Sebastian's drummer for the past 7 years. The album is tentatively scheduled for a summer, 2011 worldwide release.

Sebastian Bach commented, “I would like to sincerely thank all at Frontiers Records for their support and belief in me, my band and the new tunes. Expect an album full of high-energy rock n’ roll with kick-ass clean and clear vocals, along with me laying down the craziest screams I have recorded in my life thus far…To all of the rockers of the world, thank you for letting me create killer music for the past two decades, and all I can say is, we are just warming up mothertruckers!” Frontiers Records President Serafino Perugino added, “We are pleased and honored to be at the service of Sebastian Bach! We look forward to help make his forthcoming album a hard rock milestone!”

Sebastian Bach has sold in excess of 20 million records worldwide as lead singer with his former band, Skid Row and as a solo artist. Far from just being a multi-platinum recording artist, the singer/songwriter/actor/entertainer has expanded his career over the past decade to include episodic television with a 5-season recurring role on the CW’s hit series “Gilmore Girls”, starring roles on Broadway (“Jekyll & Hyde”, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”) and national touring companies (“Jesus Christ Superstar”), as well as an ongoing relationship with MTV/VH1.

Angel Down was the last one from him...did not get the best review from our humble leader.

I hope this one is better (I liked not loved Angel Down) the Youtubes from his last time out with Guns and Roses are good...he sounds better than he has in a long time...his new guitar player is really good and young...maybe it was what he needed.

Another asshole who let booze and his ego get the best of him. Like another singer that quickly comes to mind, this doucher needs to realize that he's nothing without the rest of his band. Frontiers Records signs one good artist for every 10 bad. I just can't decide which one Bach is yet. But I have a feeling it'll ultimately be the latter.

I loved SB from back in the Skid Row days and he seemed like a great guy when he was on Celebrity FitClub, but he opened for Poison a year and a half ago and his voice was toast. He had to scream to cover the fact that he couldn't sing the songs like he used to. Personally I would've rather heard him struggle to hit the notes than to butcher it by sounding like he was warming up by gargling with razor blades.

I'm not crazy about Angel Down. Hope these new efforts are a step up for him. 8)

I just hope that Nick Sterling can bring some writing talent...Snake and Scotti are big shoes to fill if you are going to make a comparison to the Skid Row material. I have not listened to much of the new Skid Row releases....did you review them Andrew?

While this group is certainly not on par with Van Halen, Zep or any of the other big bands that reunited, why doesn't this asshole go back to Skid Row and give the fans what they want? :? Anyone care to give me a brief history of the band's splitting and seemingly bad blood?

Allegedly, the band got upset with Bach booking them as an opening act for KISS and booted him out (probably the last straw following a culmination of other things, primarily LSD), when they felt they themselves should be the headliner. I'm not a big fan so someone else can verify or deny this scenario.

I don't remember the whole thing verbatim... if I recall right, and anyone correct me if I'm wrong... they threw him out for being a big diva douche. Now they play state fairs. That is not a shot, BTW. Last time I saw an announcement of skid row show anywhere around here, it was the Wisconsin state fair. he probably would go back, but I don't think they want him.

Yep. One was ok and one sucked. Both had unfulfilled potential.

Has anyone noticed that every time Bach is on VH1, doing whatever show, seems to laugh almost every time after he says something?

He's his number one fan.

The guy is a complete fuckin' asshole. Everyone associated with him in the past pretty much despises him. And you're right, he does always laugh at himself. He seems to have severe insecurity issues. He's just about all done. These albums will blow.

Anyone see that show he was on with the "supergroup" they were making (I forgot the name they had picked now, lol) with him, Jason Bonham, one of they guys from Anthrax, etc.? It was pretty entertaining, he IS a high maintenance kind of guy it seemed, always worried about his hair, etc. Funny to watch

I was going to say something like that too! Bach is kind of the conceited type, and he IS high maintenance. I can see why he had issues with his band. Prima Donna's usually do!

Yes. I've always said, great singer, wasn't too bad to look at back in the day, but once he opens his mouth and starts talking, he ruins it.

Yes! They were all in that big house and he had like the most elaborate room in the place, and would make everyone else wait when they were ready to work or whatever, while he took a shower and had hair time  It was funny!

WAS talented. Skid Row/Bach hasn't felt an iota of inspirational wherewithall in 20 years....that boat sailed faster than Espee's. Both solo albums completely sucked arse, and unless you are are a Bachaloon - you'd realize this too.... :?
