Arrival was a very positive album, and quite good. I didn't care for the ballads however. SA shot his wad on Tyketto's Shine Album with the ballad 'Get Me There'

Agree completely. Take out: All the way, Loved by you, With your love and the album would have been much stronger.

The more Dan/St John masturbates over this album, the more I think it's gonna be terrible. If Pineda can't pronounce shit, I don't care what is going on musically on this damn album. I cannot stand to hear him butcher the English language again.

Can't wait to rub this post in your face.

You'd think with Ross being 348, they'd stay away from any sort of undead references. But when Jonathan wants to sparkle... I guess that's that.

I thought Pineda was supposed to be the 'Diamond in the Rough', or did he just get downgraded to cubic zirconia?

Journey is an embarrassment. Plain and simple. Questionable management moves. Really fucked up priorities. But the fans with the rose-colored blinders lap their shit up - year after year.....after year. I don't wish bad for them...they just can't help themselves.

Again, Zdeno, NSTYNC have sold close to 100 million albums.....are they good? I wouldn't pin all Journey's hopes on album sales. This isn't a 2cd/DVD care package this go 'round....

Points taken. However, nor is it a slightly better than average Journey album (like Rev) with some solid vocals and melodies. This is a hard melodic rock fan's perfect album. And even you're going to like it. I have no doubt in my mind, and remember I said that. :) This album is Frontiers on steroids. 8)

Nice cut and paste job. That would actually make a very cool album cover!

I'm looking forward to hearing this & am willing to keep an open mind. I hope it kicks ass!

I'm a completist. I'll buy it. But Revelation is just sitting in the same place it has been since the day after I purchased it....the only thing I don't own is The Ballade...

I can respect that, Sean. Revelation was done very poorly, production-wise. Additionally, it was a safe album and din't take too many chances. This album will be the opposite. I know it. They're gonna rock and rock hard, and don't care if there's commercial appeal. It's not going on the radio anyway, and it's geared more toward the hard rock crowd. That's why they're touring Europe, South America and Asia so extensively. If they wanted the general Revelation crowd, they'd play it safe. They're not. I expect edge and jam songs like La Raza Del Sol. Intensity. :)

+1 Great jam 8) . Mr. Friga even surprised me on this, side to his playing I really didn't know he had. The whole band is firing on all cylinders on the one.
