This is not the face of a rock star. This is the face of a middle aged dyke who lives with a lot of cats and runs a natural food market with her "life partner"

I've heard he was really active, loved playing soccer, but ended up with a back injury that he still suffers with. I heard sometimes he wears a brace on stage too. That could account for his lack of being in shape.Saint John wrote:Joe is a rock legend, but he doesn't seem really serious about staying in good shape and it shows in his live singing. He would far better served for his sake and that of the fans if he went on a diet, lost weight and got into fantastic shape. He looks ridiculous these days. He's a rock legend and the Def Leppard fans deserve better. They're awesome fans and incredibly supportive. Hell, the Oreo baby maker Phil Collen seems to be able to stay in shape, so Joe has no excuse.

Are you pushing 50 yet? Come back to me then, and let me know how it's going for you!Seven Wishes wrote:Bullshit. I've had two back surgeries, have a six inch rod at the base of my spine and am in constant pain, and still find the time to work out six days a week.

He has damage too. He's 52. I know 40 year old men in WORSE shape than him.Seven Wishes wrote:Right. So it's easier to stay in shape at 40 despite having an immobilizing rod running half way up your back than it is to do ANYTHING at 50? One of my clients is in the best shape of his life now at 57, and is stronger and more fit than at any time in his life.

What list? So you are muscular and fit? Is that what your claiming? Not everyone can be "superman" obsessed with their bodies, like 7wishes. Who would want to be. There are other things to enjoy in life.S2M wrote:StevePerryHair wrote:He has damage too. He's 52. I know 40 year old men in WORSE shape than him.Seven Wishes wrote:Right. Definitely! Once your body gets to a weight, it wants to go there. So if you don't make a permanent lifestyle change, it keeps going there, as soon as you resume normal eating. I am a human yo-yoS2M wrote:I think(and being no nutrition expert) that keeping yourself from ever getting overweight is easier to do than to lose the weight after the fact....a lesson learned.
