The worst part is the prep and not being able to eat all day.

For me it was having to drink the Golytely stuff for preparation.
4 litres of salt water is what the stuff tastes like....ick!

I've always wondered if they could have come up with a more INappropriate name for that stuff!!!

No kidding. There's nothing light about it. I could hit a keyhole at 20 feet the one time I took that stuff. The last few glasses of that shit are tough to get down.

Colonoscopy is a piece of cake, the worst part is the prep, dirnking all that Gatoraide with the laxitive in it. After about 4 hours all cleaned out. The procedure itself, no problem, they start an IV, give you a shot and you wake up back in your room. Plus I lost 6 pounds. Too bad it all came back in a week.

At my age, that may be the only damned way I CAN lose weight!!!!!!!!!!!
