The MelodicRock Fantasy Baseball League

Postby comedyisnotpretty » Sun Feb 20, 2011 5:34 pm

To all you MelodicRockers out there who are totally into Fantasy Baseball: I am interested in starting a fantasy baseball league for MelodicRockers ONLY!!! It's FREE! It's fun! Compete, share your baseball knowledge, take your trash talking on to new levels. If you are interested in this let me know what your preferences are : ESPN or Yahoo? Traditional Rotisserie scoring? or standard Head to Head? I would hope that there is enough interest out there for 8 to 12 teams. Let me know if this is something you would like to do.

For me, 2 things:

A. I HATED Baseball....It was watching the equivalent of paint drying.
Until I met Mark - who is the biggest Red(Sox) Head I've ever seen.

B. NOW, I'm addicted and watch ESPN / Games all the time.

Compete, share your baseball knowledge, take your trash talking on to new levels.

Um...I'm out.

Man, you know what, baseball is longgggggggggg, it seems like forever & ever. I have played fantasy baseball for quite a while & I told myself I'm not doing it again. I know I'll get an invite for our yahoo league, but it's so fucking mentally draining and time consuming, unlike football & basketball. Tell you what though, if you can get Angel to play 3rd base, I'm in. Yahoo is my choice, head to head scoring, at least 4 bench players and you can drop anyone, 1 or 2 day waiting on waivers.

Can't promise you that Angel will play, hope that you will though.

Also, hoping that Beshad ( Dude knows baseball ! ) and John from Boston will join.

Guys, I hope you would all think about joining Dan's league.

Benefits:

1. I don't play...........I like baseball, but I don't know enough about it to be in a league.

2. Dan knows baseball, and has been part of leagues, and has set up leagues for a long time.

3. You get to know a pretty nice guy. That I can assure you!

4. He will work with you.

5. He is a funny dude. Much funnier than me...........no stretch of the imagination there.

6. No cute cat pictures.

7. He is very dedicated to what he does. (He lives and breathes baseball, during baseball season I get a lot of art done, because I become the ultimate fantasy baseball widow.)

8. You might have some fun............not as much fun as Deano's sharting stories, but if your a baseball fan, he would love to shoot the breeze with guys who really love the sport.

9. This post is probably going to get me in trouble! LOL!

Take the time to get to know him. Rip can tell you he is a great guy.
