Honestly, they are contestants on American Idol right now that would blow her out of the water, she wouldn't even make the top 40 finalists probably. What she needs is experience, NOT free props because she's Cain's daughter.

anything in a negative light about a current member of Journey some folks,

She sounds good on the country-styled stuff. Way, way better, and much more distinctive than on the Journey number. The Journey number was nothing you could call "BAD," but nothing remarkable or good either. Just not her bag apparently.

I can't help but feel like she's a VERY talented high school choir/glee club member though. I'm not hearing the "IT" factor.

Agreed. I think she'll really shine (or not) when some of her obvious shyness subsides. She's been thrust onto some pretty big stages and if she's anything like her dad she's probably a bit nervous on stage.

I agree w/Matty. Yes on the country stuff and perhaps one day on this material, but
as of now with what was set before us, the IT factor wasn't there for me ...best of luck
