Colors are very similar and the simplicity is very similar to the Red 13 cover.... Scarab is obviously different.

Is it on fire? I thought it was flying infront of the sun, or some other star, and creating an Eclipse. Cool either way. I like the simplicty and the scarab ship. Like how they went back to substituting numbers for some letters in the title too.

Looks like fire coming out of the back, the Scarab seems to be right in front of a planet or star causing an ECL1P53.

From a graphic design standpoint, the elements are very well done. It seems to 'glow', as in the light source behind the focal point seems real, and that's hard to achieve. (At least from what a thumbnail-esqe size picture shows.) I like the title bar and the visual balancing that's going on with that. The overall color motif is good. Only thing irking me is the scarab seems to be in flight. Would have stuck more with the theme of "Eclipse" if it had been a stationary body with the light effects giving a halo around the entire element. As if it were actually eclipsing something. The way it is now, the vortex appearance of the object being eclipsed makes it seem more like some hyperspace travel effect. I just keep hearing Lord Helmet telling Colonel Saunders to "prepare ship for ludicrous speed".

4 out of 5 stars, fine holiday fun.

Looks like fire from underneath, kind of like when the shuttle re-enters the earth's atmosphere is what I was thinking, lol.

Love the Scarab/picture - Love the use of #'s in the word eclipse - HATE the font - would like to see at least Journey in some of the classic lettering from the past and Eclipse under the scarab like the classic albums

Thanks man - just seems like they pulled the font from Word or Excel - I would love to see even an updated version of Journey in the infinity symblol or since the words are the same # of letters an "eclipse" of the 2 words together

I'm torn.. I like the scarab conceptually.. but I think its "tired" too... it needs an update... after all this is a new Journey with AP and all isn't it? Maybe something like this?

I think they should have named the album Re-Entry....and had a scarab/meteor re-entering the atmosphere....would've looked better. But I do like the artwork they decided on.
