Let's make it Pitt. :) I'm here now and this city sucks, but it has to be better in the summer! Perhaps a few of us can also catch a Pirates game, too. 8) That park looks SWEET.

I like Pitt! Too bad it's not hockey season!  And it IS much better in the summer. Better than Florida in August!

I'm in. :) I was at Stu's house for the Super Bowl, but aside from that I haven't seen much of the area. This place is a logistical fucking NIGHTMARE!!! :x

  Well, if you can get around, it is a nice downtown area, in the summer. And I do love the "hills" they have in the surrounding areas.

If, like Andrew said, they plan on doing 60 shows in the U.S., their total gigs for the year would slightly over 90. That's a possible suicide mission for Arnel. :? And that almost certainly assures that the songs will down a half step, too.

I've been thinking the same thing after hearing there might be 3-4 nights in a row too. The step down thing never bothers me though, still sounds good live!

I agree. I know Arnel is about as diligent as any singer in the business but 90 gigs, all over the WORLD, is a tall order in your mid-40's. But I have confidence in the little fella. :)

Yea, by the time they reach my neck of the woods, it'll be their third night in a row! This tour certainly looks like it'll be quite the marathon for Arnel's voice.

I have been told, by a reliable source, that the tour dates between Vegas and the end of October will number over 100. I believe 101 was the number I was quoted.

Man, that's a tall order, even tuned down. Especially when you hit those desert dates late in the tour.

It's a "guy cruise" (no, not gay  ) It's an annual thing that he and his co-workers do. No wives or girlfriends. I dont' take him on my concert trips either... and he is quite happy about that!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's not going to lose any sleep over missing Behshad and me sing Open Arms. Especially considering Behshad used my focus on the song's high notes to grope my boobies.

Yeah, I'm sure they have their own "boobie" moments amongst men on their cruise too   They may even sing to each other, who knows!! I try not to judge!! He does kind of like those pink girlie drinks...

He really just has no interest in concerts. He never has! So it works out for me!! Their cruise has grown to like 25 or 30 guys this last year. It can't get much bigger though, because they are cops, and who would be here to work the city?

What's it matter if people are stupid enough to still go out and shell out cash? Think they're worried about burning little Arnel's voice out? Singers are as disposable as tampax to Neil's band. One gets saturated? Unplug it and shove another one up in there! Seriously, what's to worry about?

They're not dumping Arnel even if his voice blows out. Pineda brings 20,000 of his denizens to the fanbase that promote the band better than Journey does themselves. Neal & Co. can not start over again. For better or worse, this is their last replacement singer.

3 lead singers in 34 years. Again, if Neal is guilty of anything, it's being loyal to singers when their voices are finished. Nostrildamus blew his voice out by not taking care of it and should have been shown the door after ROR, Augeri should have been shown the door in about 2002 and Arnel seems to be doing just fine. If he needs them to stop, he'll say so. He won't play sabotage games or lip like his predecesors. 8)

3 singers in 34 years?
Augeri in 99, Soto in 20whatever, now Arnel. 3 singers in 12 years.

You can't compare those guys to Perry. 8)

Soto finished a tour and had no official recordings with the band. The guy was a fill in.

And you can't compare any singer to Perry. At least up until 1984.

Was Augeri "unplugged" from Niel's band and was Soto "plugged in" as a result? 3 singers 12 years!

Regardless, Pineda is the only singer post-Perry that has garnered any attention. And he's better than Perry was from 1985-1998. 8) But not prior to then.

This sentence could only have been typed from Sheen's house.

Yeah, Pineda got press for being homeless. Damn those other singers for having the ability to keep a roof over their heads and denying Neil's band of a spot on Doprah. Anyway even Arrival was better than Revelations.

One was a live performance the others are studio recordings.

The best of TBF was better than the best of Revelations.
