Is The World As We Know It Really Ending?

the reason i ask this is there is chaos everywhere or so it seems.it says in the bible in the end days there will be lots of natural disasters and chaos and that seems to be happening all over the planet in different ways.

we have the recent situation in Austrailia and now the earthquake in Japan.we have all the economic chaos going on in numerous parts of the world.you have leaders all over the world being overthrown or asked to leave.

just seems like everyone and everything is in a state of chaos.

The world is not ending as we know it. That is all that you need to know. Ignore anyone who says anything differently because I am right and they are wrong.

i am raising two children ages 6 and 5.every day they come home from school talking about tornado drills, fire drills and how to dial 911.seems like the schools now are in some type of panic mode.they sent two laminated pictures home of the kids from the national center for missing and exploited kids saying all kids at the school are in the database.i have my kids asking me all kinds of questions to the point where i want to go this school and tell them to calm down.i mean its affecting children when they go around worrying about adult things like martial law.my daughter is six and was asking me about martial law.why in the world would they be teaching kids that

Both of my Parents had to go through "Air Raid Drills" in the early-mid 1940s; they were in Grade School. WWII.

I had to go through fire and earthquake drills when I was in grade school.

Mike, it does sound like the school is in panic mode. All that is a bit much. Has the school ever notify parents about the questions their children may raise to their parents about these subjects? It sure is stressing kids out.

The bible also says the time no man knoweth. In other words as long as someone predicts it, chances are they are out in left field. LOL~ Besides, even if it were, I am not worried. I have a golden ticket, and for Parfait and all the atheists out there, I have peace of mind not to go nuts if nothing exists after it is all over. So still no worries.

Except if they take my pencils away and won't let me draw till the end. Then it will be the apocalypse for sure!!!

You have a golden ticket, huh? I don't care about no ticket, but I feel sorry for the billions of people around the world, living in shit poor conditions while sitting in some factory making your clothes and food while getting abused, raped and murdered, who'll never have the luck and honor to find the kind and loving God.

Can't you just let people believe in their faith without trying to piss all over it incessantly? Your turn for your dirt nap is coming. If Mike believes Christ is his Lord and Savior, we all know you're the big man who doesn't need anything but the inspiration and admiration of pathetic lost soul like Charlie Sheen!

I'd love to see you stand up like a big man to someone who'd just lost their child and tell them they're nothing but worm food.
That's exactly what you're telling everyone on this board who has.

Preying one someone's emotions over common sense is far more deplorable. Besides, listening to and believing some dumbass who talked a big game only to be nailed to a fucking cross seems pretty fucking silly to me. Why, then, don't we celebrate deaths? According to you, we should throw a party of celebration when we lose someone. I think we should just assume they're gone and treasure life, memories and every minute of it that we live. If God wanted us to believe otherwise, I'm quite sure he/she could find a way of letting us know. Regardless, living life to its fullest and practicing universal truths such as love, kindness, sharing, justice and equality seems to be the far more practical approach. Any God would respect that over wasting your time on your knees praying on Sundays, in front of a guy that molests children when you're not looking, like a dope. Praying and going to church is selfish, in that it doesn't help, make practical sense or make the world any better. But I'm glad it gives you a false sense of security. Donate some money, too. Father Richard needs a couple of bucks, to remain unemployed, and not have to get a job so he can spend time on his Facebook account where he can continue to troll for little kids to blow. That precedent was already set when with all the times he led the congregation to its knees. Congrats!

You are seriously retarded. The God, no God debate aside... who makes YOUR clothes? Your family pays people boat-loads of money and keeps people happy to make clothes for you though right? That was the most hypocritical post I've read in a long time. :? And you think that people who live in those conditions can't find God? Just shows what you know about religion.

Bravo - applause, applause, encore, author!
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

The world as we know it has already ended. It ends every day. Is the world the same as it was 5 years ago, 10, 30, 100 years? Everything changes nothing stays the same.

Regardless of what one believes or does not believe, we all will handle it in our own way won't we? I have friends on both sides of the fence, and I love them all. As I said, I have no fears. I can only do with today what I have time to deal with. Nothing promises tomorrow. If I am hit with a bus tomorrow, I can only hope I left this world with as little harm as I could.

I don't care about no ticket, but I feel sorry for the billions of people around the world, living in shit poor conditions while sitting in some factory making your clothes and food while getting abused, raped and murdered, who'll never have the luck and honor to find the kind and loving God.

How do you see to type over your foreskin?   I never said YOU had to believe, I just said I did. It gives me peace of mind and I have no fear of THE END.

I knew you could not resist striking at my beliefs. I gave you the right to think if it came to the end and I am dead all over like rover the way you present it, that I still had no problem because I would have died without fear.

I did not ask your opinion on God. I am sure everyone here is quite clear on your stance on it. Heaven forbid anyone think differently than the great Brain. LOL!

Tolerance my eye, you have none. Hater............

As long as you end up in heaven, then everything is okay, huh? The Japanese has just gotten their country destroyed. Funny stuff.

Yes and your such a philanthropist with mommy and daddy's money.

Parfait, you twist everyone's words around. Since when did I show no compassion for anyone hurting in this world? The question was what if the world ends. I said I was not afraid. I have my faith.

Really, do you do anything but be a real jerk to everyone online? Seriously, your a complete tool sometimes. I work for a living little man, and I give what I can as often as I can. I earn my way in life.

What do you offer besides your arrogance?

Congrats!

I love you too Dan.  Allow me my delusion please, and I will allow you your superiority.

I just offer up a contrarian opinion against the folly that is organized religion.

I guess 'god' was watching....the Tsunami must have been in response to Unbeatable Banzuke, Ninja Warrior, and the Tomagotchi....I'm surprised the Westboro Baptist Church isn't at the submerged airport picketing already......

Well, I don't take your quips personally. And I don't condone people into religion for money or to hurt children. My husband was a preacher at one time. I can tell you he did it because of his love for God. Neither one of us condone bullying people into believing. I pray and go to church, it may not make the world better in your opinion, but it makes me better as a person. To each his own, can we agree on this? Hugs Dan, you know I still loves ya! :D
