Any comment from KW on AP...or at least DD?

later~

Haha... you know me pretty well, but I could never share any of that stuff if we did. :) And that's not to hint at anything or encourage speculation, because he doesn't rip on other singers. Kip is a very positive guy, and also very honest, which is why I wanted to work with him. I needed that for me, and most anything I asked about with regards to other singers was related to technique (should I do this, or do that?). He's also funny as hell, and a lot of fun to talk with in general. He did sign a photo to go on the wall at AP's Rockville Bar in Manila.

Very different album from the first, but great -- I love it. Had it on cassette, too. Music really has a way of landmarking life events, and for those times when I was listening to a song when something major happened, I never forget the song. Europe has one called "Hero" dedicated to Phil Lynott, and there is a lyric that goes "You wrote the soundtrack to my life." We all have a musical soundtrack to our lives, good and bad. Winger usually reminds me of the good times, too.

Thanks! What I learned is giving me a new voice... been singing the wrong way for 25 years, and it's a heck of a lot to swallow from just 2 sessions, but it's already starting to click and sink in. I'd made improvements in my lower register by the 2nd day, and even more just this morning. Also getting more power and a new timbre -- it will take some time, but I think I'll be really happy with the results.

The observations about my posture and recommendations he made were pure gold -- totally life-changing, and will also take some time and possibly some special training, but will help tremendously in every area of my life.

 Yep, I thought wrong. I was going more on Rip's '80s metal' post earlier. That's why I thought somebody more like Tate. Kip, like Eric, I don't see as metal singers......more as hard rock.

Not diggin' the facial hair though.........LOL, mind you, I think 99.99999% of guys look better without facial hair.

Not a facial hair person myself ...especially on me, but KW looks really good in Rip's pic!!
