People there we never knew.
People we knew, no longer there.

Doesn't matter much how we feel.
Doesn't matter much what we think.
The Earth doth move & shake...
People still live the lives they make.

Crumbling beneath the sea,
The ancient rock always finds unrest.
Causing our hearts to reach...
Is the ultimate test.

People are people.
Lives are lost.
Once enemies...
Japan pays the cost.

How can we help, with all the loss.
How can we reach, through all the chaos.

Prayer is the answer.
And God will answer the prayer.
If it's his will, or if not
Still, we'll care.

What matters is what we do.
People we never knew.
Lives lost, though not common stock.
Our hearts care & reach...
Through the ancient crumbling rock.
