Cooke does this to EVERYONE. Hell, he did it the Bruins Savard a year ago, and the guy is still laying in a dark room because he can't function in the world. I understand that hockey is a physical sport and I'll never call out a guy who accidentally hurts an opposing player, but you said the key word when it comes to Cooke...purposeful. I love a good, physical game and, hell, even a fight. However, in my world, if you're going to get violent with someone, at least give that person a chance to defend themselves and fight like a man.

Cowardly acts should be treated with swift, brutal justice. But, per usual, it will take someone getting paralyzed or permanent brain damage before they do something. This guy should be sent packing for the rest of the year and probably the first half of next year.
