I just browse this forum once in a while, so I didn't realize so many were absent! Cheekymonkey hasn't posted in over a year - does anyone know if she still stops by?

Hey Sherriberry, Thanks for wondering where I've been, it's nice to be missed. Very short recap-last may, broke my femur in 9 places and pulverized part of it, (17 screws, 15 inch plate) just got out of my cast end of Feb of this year. Before I boke my leg I had bought a new house in a small town to start a new business. So I moved 3 weeks after surgery, and although not ready to work I decided to establish my new venture as I did not qualify for any benefits for support. End of sept. the business opened, Nov. 8 my Mom died suddenly, and 2 weeks later a close friend died of brain cancer (diagnosed 6 weeks earlier). Both of them were also employees. My world fell apart, even though the business continued. I am executor or My Mom's estate with no help from family. Suffice to say, this has to be the lowest point of my life.

I come in every once in a while, lurking, catching up on everyone and SP. Just haven't felt like posting. Spring is here, and I hope my time and money has been well spent, and that all the prep for the new business, (women's retail) will pay off with the warm weather. Still struggling with alot of sadness and aloneness. Not feeling sorry for myself, that's just the reality of things. I hope you are all well, and that you have a great Easter weekend.
Hug, Cheeky

Hi Cheeky,

I was checking to see if you had been back recently and somehow I missed your answer to my post last year. I am so sorry that you endured so much pain and loss (and you too Babyblue - I'm sorry to hear about your mom). How are you? I hope everything is going much better for you now.

Hugs,
Sherri
