You're sure right about that. Not only is it unfair to Arnel, it's unfair to all concerned. The way I see it, Perry is doing what he wants to do, Journey, together with the help of Arnel, are doing what they want to do, Arnel is doing what he wants to do.... I loved Perry in Journey, and think he is one of the best, but I'm glad he's enjoying baseball games now, because I'd rather take in some shows and enjoy Journey turning out now music over the situation we had before Perry was finally replaced. And by the way, we all get that Arnel is not a tall white guy, but he sings better than most of them I've heard anyway and I'll take the big pipes over any other qualification any day. Funny thing about Arnel being Filipino, is that with the exception of Ross and Jonathan, has anybody ever noticed the pedigree of Journey members? There's a lot of ethnic blood there! I can't think of anything more American than that.

(his parents are from the Azores islands of Portugal). Perry grew up interested in music, as his father, Ray Pereira (who later changed his last name to Perry)

No, it was more to so many that said "he'll burn out" and on and on and on. Simply because he's not Perry. If you look prior to my post there were others that said similar things. But yeah, I said "I Told You So" because I did. From the first few times I heard the guy, it was apparent that he was up to the gig. SURE he needed "on the job training" duh. But you cannot deny that voice. You just can't.

You've done your fair share of Perry bashing, no posts in particular!!
Other than that, I consider you a good fan of the music and fair, for the most part!!

I understand where you're coming from, but I do not understand why you are not just enjoying?!
Not only you, but everyone who supports this lineup/band ... your ultimate I told you so should
be in enjoying the music you love, knowing new music is being produced by a band you love and the
thrill of being able to see them perform in a live setting.

I don't understand AP bashing, I don't understand Perry bashing, I don't know of either of these artists publicly
bashing one another or others ...I guess we all take our cues from Neal, the leader of the band!! On the other hand,
if I say I don't care for Revelation it bores me to tears, don't call me a hater and then post that you haven't listened
to it in over a year (not you)...we are all entitled to our opinions!! If one doesn't like TBF or ROR, they don't like it, they
aren't changing my opinion!! Point being ...there are very few here that are innocent when it comes to
judging these artists for doing things that most of us will never be capable of even attempting.
