That's ridiculous. :? I'm all for letting your children express themselves to a point, but that's just plain dumb. Was it the child's idea, or the dad's? My son used to play with the big G.I. Joe's, and one day when we were at the store, he had a FIT for us to get him a Barbie so that his G.I. Joe could have a wife. I never bought him that damn thing, and he got over it. Just sayin'!

G.I. Joe is Barbie's husband. Ken is just her hairdresser.

One afternoon, a woman and her little daughter went into a large toy store. The mother asked her daughter what toys she wanted.

The little girl said, "I want GI Joe and Barbie."

The mother smiled and said, "Darling, you know Barbie doesn't come with GI Joe."

The little girl looked up at her mom and replied, "Mom, Barbie ALWAYS comes with GI Joe. She just FAKES it with Ken."

Hmm, maybe you're right, I guess wearing those tights all nice and tight does make them run faster?

Something tight around my balls might make me run a lot faster!

I'm tired of having to say "African-American," "Latin-American," and "Native American." Why not just blacks, webacks, and injuns? It's a bunch of propagandist nonsense.

There's a TV station here in Cleveland (It was originally an Akron station) that is run by a con-artist-televangelist. The station used to just show his fraud of a show, and reruns of older shows. When the WB Network started up they became the local Cleveland affiliate for the Network, and they are still the affiliate for the CW Network.

The station censors the hell out of reruns of shows. Funny thing is that they don't censor a damn thing that is being aired brand-new by the CW. The station appears to feel that if someone says damn or hell in a rerun that it must be censored, but that when someone calls someone a "dick-head" in an airing of a new episode of a CW show that that is alright?

Anyway, I just had a rerun of Friends on that aired on that station that I'm mentioning. In the episode Chandler reads a sign that is in Phoebe's grandmothers cab that says "Beam me up Jesus." Even though that station has aired that episode a hundred times before, and it always had that line in it all of the past times that they aired it, they now decided tonight that they should censor out the name Jesus. They now just have it that Chandler read the sign as saying "Beam me up."

Imagine if "All in the Family" was currently in production. Greatest sitcom ever, and NO ONE would touch it with Sheen's scaly green dick.

In the case of the latter two, not everyone crosses the Rio Grande and "Indians" are from India.

If you watched The Shield, the kickass cop show that starred Michael Chiklis, Walt Goggins, Benito Martinez and C.C.H. Pounder, you'd have caught a lot of stuff that wasn't politically-correct. Best show ever to show the less savory parts of Los Angeles.

Some of footballs
greatest players have taken ballet to improve their reflexes, balance and flexibility ...I believe yoga is more popular now!!

I've always giggled at the idea that boys who take dance classes - one boy, fifty girls, all of them fighting for his attention - are gonna be gay... not like the macho boys hanging out with 20 other boys on the football field... tackling them... showering with them...
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

I don't understand the attitude either - Mikhail Baryshnikov, Patrick Swayze, Antonio Banderas - hardly sissies! Dance is amazing for building physical strength, endurance, co-ordination, and flexibility. And a boy in ballet is the centre of attention surrounded by dozens of girls - who are also wearing tights!

If a boy wants to take dance, there is nothing wrong with that. Kids can get bullied for anything and everything that they can't control, so wouldn't it be more prudent to also teach them boxing or martial arts so they can stand up and defend themselves, rather than teach them to base their choices on the opinions of others?

I thought about this, partly, wondering when and if to include a neutralizing 'smiley' emoticon in a negative post. Whereas the smiley would lessen the blow of my comment, it really wouldn't best describe my actual sentiment....and then that led to asking about PC-ness.
