He worked with Seal on his last album. Well, actually, he worked on him with his soul covers album before that. Seal calls him a genius. But many fans were up in arms and said it was Seal's most generic work to date and underwhelmed and begging him to make up with Trevor Horn for his next album. Though, a third of Seal's songwriting was very generic compared to earlier years, so that part isn't fair to blame on Foster. Half of the album was fantastic about love and commitment. The rest generic, sappy.
