I'm diggin' it. Better than any of the new Journey clips I've heard. What do you all think?

ZZZZZZZZZ....seriously. I enjoy most of their stuff from High N' Dry- 'X'....but honestly, they jumped the shark after Pyromania. Hysteria was good for what it was, but I enjoyed their more rockier side.

Vocal layers galore to hide joe's depleted voice.....harmonies are still there. Typical signature sound. Sadly, guitar solos are lacking.

I give it a 70/100

A few listens in today, and not really impressed. I am curious to hear the other two new songs, written by Sav and Phil, respectively. The live version of "Rocket" that was played this morning on Planet Rock was very good.

LOL...every time I hear a "new" Lepp single, it sounds like it's in the same tempo as the last umpteen singles. This could've been on Adrenalize. Phil just needs to faux-rap on it.

Hang it up, guys. You've outlived your relevance ever since you cashed in your collective balls for Hysteria.

Best sounding song they've released since 'X'. A helleva lot better sounding than Journey's lead single IMO.

Great song. Their first since "Long Long Way To Go." Now if only they could put out their first good album since 1999.

GREAT CALL...although the acoustic version rules.

Here are 2 relatively unknown tracks that kick ass too....

I love it!!! New sport song ...not a lesson in what it takes to win, but in your
face I'm gonna win

Huge problem for me were the backing vox, I don't know if it's the vid, but I can't understand
a word they're singing until they get to I'm undefeated, just a bunch of mish~mosh ...I hope the
actual recording is better because the rest is great!!

I liked the song the first time I heard it when it was called Truth, off of Slang...the way Joe sings the words I'm Undefeated is the SAME EXACT WAY he sings the words, Why Don't You Tell Me in Truth....self-plagiarizing.

Slang was a phenomenal album. Vastly underrated. Every song listenable or great.

here's a better version MG. Though these files were recorded off of a radio broadcast. The sound quality won't be cd quality.

Wow. over analyze much? I don't hear much of a similarity between the two.

Can you read? I said the way he says the two phrases, not the actual song itself....obviously Truth is much darker....as Milfy says.

And let's not preach to ME about over-analyzing shit....this is Journey country - where all things are dissected, and analyzed. just saying.... :? :?

Yeah, and they did the same thing when they rhymed the lyric "Hysteria" with the "Pyromania" lyric off of "Rock of Ages". Bastards.

Rehashed? yep, but I'm really digging this song. Much more than the new Journey tunes so far. I think that considering Joe's age and condition, he did an amazing job on this song! Definitely has that instantly recognizable sound, and it's a sound I've missed since Euphoria. Good job guys!

Concur....Pyromania, and Slang....are my faves. Slang was a calculated out of the box release....and it worked. This? Paint by Numbers....Where is the guitar solo? Vivian is complaining. Phil is dipping into chocolate and gettin tattoos. Joe is moonlighting, doing his own thang......

Going through the motions, yet again.....

+1 ...except the Journey tunes part, haven't

Why haven't you listened to any of the Journey tunes?
Long story short ...when I hear
it/cd, I will hear it from the first song/story to the last; therefore, I won't miss the plot.
No short 30 second clips that lovers can love in 30 seconds, but other opinions are not
allowed/taken seriously ...in other words, there will be no excuses for the pinheads to use
against me if I hate it, but I won't be joining any new clubs if I love it!!
