If you don't like The Hurting, you aren't a real T4F fan, sorry......

You're right. I love the Hurting. I had to get Raoul in there and was doing four, following your four-album-in-a-row guideline. Then said forget it and added the fifth. I should have added the sixth. Even now I listen to The Hurting off their compilation album. Most of the songs are on there and terrifically remastered. Hard to believe Roland wrote the entire album by himself at about age 19 or 20.

I have to admit I downloaded her new single Till The World Ends and love it for club music.

It's not a band, but Seal's albums are all spectacular to me -- well, except his last one, Commitment.

Seal I - eclectic
Seal II - reflective
Human Being - darker in tone
Seal IV - eclectic
System - back to his dance roots with great lyrics.

U2 - These all are really at the top as far as their best albums. Rattle and Hum breaks the block up but that was really a live album with a few new songs, etc. So I don't consider it a studio album with all original music.

War
The Unforgettable Fire
Joshua Tree
Achtung Baby

I didn't see you had done U2 already. It was hard because I really do like October, but I went the other way with Achtung Baby on the end, one of my all-time favorites.

LOL guess I'll never catch you two at a Mr Big/Tesla double bill. I had to LMAO when one of the radio DJs here commented once after playing Little Suzi......."you just gotta love those great raspy rockers.......it's the sound you get when you mix sex and gravel."

2 bands in here I don't "get" are U2 and REM. Actually I could "get" U2 better than REM  Only song I ever thought was anywhere near decent from REM was Nightswimming, and I only liked the music, not the dude's voice, ick!

Make that 4. I find U2 as overrated as MB is underrated. REM or U2 vocally do NADDA for me.

Make it 5 - don't have a single U2 song or album in my collection (well, except for Bono's 'duet' with Michael Hutchence on one of his final songs - added his vocals after MH died - good song). I do like REM though.

Hutch, IMO could sing circles around Bono. What a loss. :( What a voice and what a stage presence he had! One frontman that made you feel every single word he sang, be it a rocker or a ballad. Yep I dare say he's in my top 5 vocalists/frontmen/emoters. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTyIKH4V72U

I'm surprised with how few stated the following:

Journey

Infinity
Evolution
Departure
Captured - since live adding a fifth
Escape

This was an unbelievable run of great albums.
