Still not enough to get him re-elected. The ruse ain't gonna work. We could have gotten him years ago. Don't fall for it, folks....

The way politicians use the idea of Patriotism makes me ill.....very much bordering on Naitionalism.

Whatever. The dude needed to die and at least it's done now. I really don't care as much about the politics that got
us there as much as the fact that the deed has finally been done. Doing the inevitable doesn't make Obama a better president
or any more re-electable....I agree.

They should bury his ass 3 ft deep in the middle of the pig sty on Old McDonald's farm.

Obama deserves to be given the credit for the good things that happened on his watch - this is one of them. The inverse is that he should be held responsible for things that go wrong too.

i think the whole time the world expected him to be living on the run in small caves or little hidden places outdoors and he has probably been holed up inside of this mansion for years and years.i don't think most people expected to hear that he was living in a real fancy ritzy place somewhere.he probably went there because he knew most everyone would never suspect him being rested up in such a place.for all we know this could've been where he was this whole time soon after the 9/11 attacks took place.

This was great news to wake up to this morning.
A huge sense of relief that the Al Qaeda mastermind and main financier has been beaten.

But, then after the initial thoughts of 'thank goodness for that, what took them so long' - I began to feel uneasy.

What worries me is that he leaves 26 children behind and a fortune of approximately 250 million.

He may be dead, but his cause isn't. Nor are his supporters. And his money to pay for it all is still there.

And although I understand the rejoicing at US Intelligence and the Marines success - I can't help thinking of when the Scottish government released the Lockerbie bomber and the Libyans partied in the streets and gloated at us all. We all felt sickened, and angry and vengeful.
Their celebratory actions made us want to take revenge.

- all this partying in the streets over Bin Laden is bound to inflame our enemies further and they hate us all anyway.
So I think that maybe the celebrating at his death should be a bit more low key?

I'm more worried about reprisals than I am pleased he is dead.

Classic! Fucking Classic!

As far as celebrating I agree we shouldn't be partying in the street over this raghead. After all, he survived for 10 fucking years with all the fucking military genius's at our disposal after him. And, you & I both know, there will be another to step in right away and they will do whatever it takes to "One up" him. That's why we need to just go over there and put them out of their misery with the smell of napalm in the air!

.... Buried at sea... if it ever even happened....

The excuse is "he was buried within 24 hours" in accordance with the Muslim faith... why in the fuck would we accord him that privilege...

Saddam was paraded around, given medical aid, yadda, yadda... and American soldiers died there too... but the excuse for "taking him alive" was so he could be tried for "crimes against his own people"....

Yet with OBL... we have no body... no trial for crimes against the American People... and only the governments "word" that the deed has been done...

No doubt OBL deserved to die.. but the American People also deserved to see OBL in an American court... tried and convicted and sentenced to life in an American prison... or death via lethal injection... OBL gets of easy...

This whole thing reeks of a massive set up....

I'm with you on this. The scumbag didnt deserve the 24hr religious burial.did those innocent people that died 9/11 get to be buried the way they would've wished for ?! They should have brought his body here to US and let the people decide what kind of burial he deserves

The world is a better place without him ... For now. But there's plenty of idiots like him over there and they're probably already planning a new attack.

Great news nevertheless.

This buried at sea nonsense is fucked up. They better have some pictures. Hopefully, one will involve the SEALs with cocks in hand unleashing a stream of piss all over his dead body. No parfait jokes please.

I'm sure however our government handled his burial, was in the best interest for our nations security. There has to be a reason for it.

Oh, I believe he was killed... but I did wonder at the part about him using a woman as a human shield. Love it, but it's such a killer (and almost predictable) propaganda piece, who knows?

I do think it's interesting that he was found in a mansion, and not hiding out in the mountains like everyone thought for so long.

Yeah, and you can't compare how Saddam was handled. He wasn't religious. He wasn't well liked. And he didn't have the broad following, kind of idol worshipping, that Osama has had. It's just different. He is a martyr to them. Saddam was not.

And sounds like he was living in this big custom built compound for quite a while! The original tip on this place came last August! Maybe it does take a while to process the info, but still...

ًً

Saddam wasn't a religious man ?! Where'd you get that from ?!

There is no reason why they couldn't have buried him anywhere but the sea.
How is the burial in the sea has anything to do with our nations security. Those who hate us , will hate us no matter what.
It's just weird that the worlds most sought massmurderer is killed but they get rid of his body ?!

Screw DNA test. Show us pictures. And please don't try to fool us with this pic from 2009

I'm not doubting one bit that he was killed. I just think they should've handled his burial differently.

I obviously word things badly sometimes. I meant he's not the religious leader that Osama was. Saddam was a militant leader of a country who practiced a religion. It's not the same. They looked at Osama as some kind of religious idol globally. They placed him up somewhere Saddam wasn't placed, religiously. That's all I was trying to say. I just think the US had to handle this carefully, whether they will still hate us or not, which they will. I just dont celebrate stuff like this. It's great closure, yes, for all those who lost lived ones, but it's not closure at the same time. It doesn't change things. The world is still effed up and always will be.

Seriously...I don't rejoice at Bin Laden's death but I am relieved and glad he's no longer a threat to anyone.

Also, correction on some reports saying Bin Laden met his Maker...No, he met his MASTER, i.e. Satan, Lucifer, etc., etc.

Little correction... the first news I heard of this was from the radio this morning, and the DJ said that Bin Laden had used a woman as a human shield. The official news sources I've read/heard say that one of the gunmen (not Bin Laden specifically) used a woman as a shield. That's more believable to me.
