The men & women of your military were going to get him one way or the other.
Obama just happened to be lucky enuff to be the President when it finally happened.
And how convenient that he got him just when it was about time to start working on his
Re-election campaign...
Man, good thing he and the govt pulled their heads out of their asses a few weeks ago
And didn't let the govt and military go into a shutdown; would've been pretty shitty
Trying to explain how well our military did FOR FREE

So the orders to go into that compound and get him didn't come from Obama? Who then?
Isn't he your Commander in Chief? Should you be talking like this?![]()

Like i said, he just happened to be in office when this opportunity arose...
This says NOTHING about his ability, or lack there of actually, to run this country...

You all entirely missed my point...
I am neither left nor right, republican nor demorcrat; just wnat the best man for the job in office.
I can honestly say I'm not really impressed with the Obama admin (wasn't too happy under G-dub either).
My point is most people are gonna hail Obama a hero and great president just because of this.
ANY president would have done the same thing once all his advisors and military strategist came
To him with the intel and planning. ANY president would have seen that a great plan like this
Had to be executed and done immediately.
Great, so Obama got one thing done right so far...
My point is that I hope MILLIONS of voters out there don't just cast their ballots
For a re-election after this historic event...
As for my comment about the shutdown, again, neither right nor left, dem or rep...
BOTH parties almost screwed the pooch on this one, and I just think Obama could've done
More to have it all resolved sooner...

Its like saying Joel Quenneville just HAPPENED to be there last year when Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup and it was ALL made possible by the team and he had NOTHING to do with it.

Ridiculous analogy, B.
You think the President, ANY President, is out there "Coaching" his troops, or sitting around with all his military advisers and coming up with grand schemes and "plays"?
Really? An opportunity arose, all of his military advisers and strategists gathered the intel, put plans on the table, and briefed the President... I'm sure like anyone would do, Obama asked a lot of questions, and really went over every detail to ensure that the plan they chose was the most effective with the least chance of damage and casualties to our soldiers and innocent civillians in the area.
But I am really not bashing Obama like you all think... I am just not too thrilled with him as a President, and hope that this ONE significant accomplishment isn't the only thing people are thinking about come election time. Who knows, maybe Obama will be the best of the two when the time comes. If so, I'll take the lesser of two evils.
And Deano, bash away. I know you served in the past, and I truly respect that. However, are you telling me that in all the time you served you were ALWAYS happy and behind the President that was serving? Never was unhappy with the administration you served under or had doubts on their abilities? You really think that just because Obama is presently "my boss" that I am supposed to support him and like him unconditionally? I can question him or his motives or abilities anytime I choose. I have that right just like any other American has, military or not.

Obama made some crucial decisions. I bet if this mission have gone south, then you would put all the blame on HIM because he is the one who gave the OK!

This has got to be one of the dumbest things I've ever read. He, and anyone else serving, can THINK however they choose. You should try that before you type sometimes.

BTW, I pay taxes too so, in a sense I am "paying myself" so I can think anyway I want. Its called Free Will.
