I also love Tantra. I love the theatrical verses. Big, grandiose song. You like it, Mel?

I'm thinking a double album next time around. One with She's A Mystery and Tantra type ballads and a rocker with half of the new formula and half of the old! I think that would make everyone happy.![]()
Well, except that asshole, Monker.

Listened a couple more times and so far the two knocking it out of the ball park to me are She's a Mystery, and Tantra. Tantra just has turns not expected and it's just a great song all around. I think people approaching it with that "oh another ballad" attitude aren't going to get it's magic, especially if they don't listen to the whole song. And then She's a Mystery... best song on the album IMO. Doesn't even sound like Journey, and that's what makes it so great. Stands apart from the rest of the album even. And that corner it turns within those last couple minutes, stinkin' brilliant.
Well we KNOW this is sarcasm.....since we know you don't spend your pennies on anything!Tito wrote:You people should be ashamed of yourselves. I hope Azoff and/or Walmart come after you people.![]()

Well said! I think they're so beautiful and come across so well because they deviated from the formulaic balladry and let the artistry flow ... and it shines through!

Another fan (See, Me and S2M do have decent musical taste, sometimes).
What's weird is this starts so much like a grunge tune, I can almost see some obese child running through a field during the opening notes.
After the Vevo shit and the tap dance, turn down the audio on the video and play the song at the same time, freakin' scary.
