It's a Monday night and I'm not expecting any sort of get together, but is anyone here going? Hoagiepete, I know that's within your driving distance! Anyone else? I just ordered and got 11th row center, so there are still excellent seats available.

Ironically, the Kansas City (MO) show, the area I just moved to, is on my 40th birthday. Funny how that shit works!

Here's a funny story, Deb. I went up to my girlfriend last year and gave her a big hug and wished a very happy 40th birthday. She looked at me and said, "My birthday is 9 months from today, you moron!" I replied, "I'm a right wing, pro-life conservative and we go from conception. You're 40 today, bitch! Happy birthday!" Let's just say that she wasn't too amused.

Omaha is the day before my bday...but it's just one show for me this time around. Pittsburgh is it. Too bad so many cities were week nights.

I have a golf trip the weekend leading up to the Monday so I'm not sure I'll make it. I haven't purchased KC tickets due to the uncertainty of where I'll have to be that day for work. I have friends with season tickets to Starlight, so I'm hoping if I'm in town I can score some last minute.

We love going to Omaha for concerts. We've seen Journey there three times, but never at the baseball stadium. Once in the park (local radio birthday bash during early Augeri era), once at Quest Arena (w/JSS - Def Lep) and the other at the arena next to The Horseshoe in Council Bluffs (Arnel - Heart). Great times. Good casinos as well if you want to make it a mini vacation. It will be interesting to see how that works at the new stadium.

Just don't appear gassed at the Horseshoe, as my buddy got booted out of there for being intoxicated after the Journey/Heart show. He was just walking around looking for a table to play and they told him he had to leave because they wouldn't allow intoxicated people in the casino!  I couldn't believe it. I just won a big pot in the poker room, so it was probably time to leave anyway.

I believe I was at this show. It was a total shit-fest toward the middle and back, as far as people were concerned. The lady next to me stripped down completely naked and stood on her husband's shoulders. I had a nice look right up her fuck tunnel, and it was gross. Funny, but gross. Two things about that stood out to me: First, no one seemed to care. No general shock around us. Second, security never said a word. The woman was completely naked and, believe me, she was no Jessica Simpson.

Steve Augeri named this his most memorable concert and I could see why. I bet he couldn't wait to get the fuck out of there.

Agree. I mean throwing your top off is one thing, boobies are boobies (not that I would do that  ). But COMPLETELY naked is another??? She wasn't thrown out? :?

You're dodging tornados today I hear, keep your head up. News just said 4 touchdowns around KC.

Great! :x The weather has been nothing short of fucking terrifying here the last week or so. I'm getting tired of this shit. :( Our house has no basement, either. We have no chance if a tornado even gets close to us. Why they built the homes like this is beyond me. And, no, it's not a fucking trailer!

I can't BELIEVE they build homes in the Midwest without basements! I get worried here during hurricanes or severe storms, because we CAN'T have basements. Well, we could, but they'd be more of an indoor swimming pool! And the house might cave in!

That was it! Cold and misty. I heard rumblings about the naked gal, but didn't see her...fortunately I guess. :D Entire day was a dud. At least they played longer due to one of the groups pulling a no show (was it Quiet Riot?).

Just little ones today. I have friends and business associates in Joplin. What a catastrophy. Unbelievable. A good friend of mine neighbor's son was sucked out of the sunroof of their Hummer, with his dad trying to hold on to his legs. The son (6'4") still has not been found. Sad, sad stuff. This was an F5 tornado that just sat on top of the city. 3/4 mile wide, six miles long of sheer distruction, right through the city. Should start a thread on this I guess.

I'm proud of them down there though as they are working together to help each other out and aren't looking for a camera to cry for the fed's help like other disasters that will remain nameless. All you fuckers that bag on the midwest should come on out for just one day and you'll change your tune.

 Yeah sounds fun! The lady that grabbed me actually was VERY drunk and I think she was on her way to falling down actually maybe, and I was in her fall path  I felt bad for her husband or boyfriend who was with her because he took her away at that point from the crowd and looked mortified, poor guy  I'm betting she didn't feel too good the next day, can't imagine how much she must have drank!
