Yes, the last month or so has been tough but as it's a free forum (as far as we are concerned) patience definitely needs to be the word of the day here.

Noticed that too for quite awhile now, especially on longer quotes. When you try to scroll down and respond, it bumps you back up to the top?? :? Grrrrr.

Yes, it's an IE problem. Use Chrome or Firefox and it won't happen.

The quoting glitch does, not the php errors or site speed.

True that....I've learned to live with the cursor jumps. The PHP errors, not so much. I hope the new board solves that.

Thanks for replying....

Yes, tons of problems lately. It took at least 45 seconds for this very thread to open for me. Of any of the websites that I visit on a regular basis, MR is taking the longest to load as of late.

I'll be moving to a new bigger more powerful server for the new site.

Isn't this site hosted from a datacenter in Florida? Seems I remember some response issues a couple yrs ago, and it wasn't long after that, the MR upgraded the hosting agreement and/or hardware. Don't recall.

Btw, how many have always thought this all came from Tasmania?
I might be wrong, but you might be surprised. :?:

Been trying Google Chrome and Safari today thanks to this thread.

Man, these programs are a lot snappier than IE 8. Thanks for the tip.
