I wonder if you have to dress for dinner ...since this is RNR?!?
After the first night or two the novelty wears off and it irritates me to stop
what I'm doing to take a shower and get dolled up ...Jeans and T's would be
great!! Wonder what cruise line?! Sounds fun!!!

I did the Journey/Styx/REO cruise on Carnival in 2004; it was a complete blast. All the regular beach stuff during the day, rock and roll every night. Random rock stars in the ship bars and casino and on shore excursions. And MG, not everyone on the boat is part of the rock deal, so dress for dinner or not continues as usual, depending on what cruise line it is.

I would looooove to go on a rock cruise! And that is THE absolute best way to experience those soulful pipes of his. Just an acoustic guitar and THAT voice. Love the Mr Big shows, but this is where he shines. I've seen him about half a dozen times now, big and small shows.........but missed seeing this great little show the day after meeting Perry, flying back to Canada the day of..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRqcqit1nAk

Not sure timing wise this will work. We are bringing in a whole new accounting system from November to February, huge project, requiring a lot of training and besides a day or two here and there, can't really take much of a vacation in that four months. :(

But I never say never.

Not true. I leave the 'Hat' at least once or twice a year. Heck, I think the year or so following MRF1, I left Canada at least 4 times.........LOL all in the name of Rock n Roll. :D

LOL, I carpool to downtown with my neighbor down the street, and mentioned this thing jokingly on our drive home today. And she says......how cool, a rock cruise, how much fun would that be!!  Hahaha this is the one that came to MRF1 and thought it was so loud up front?! Party animal she's not, LMAO Joe Lynn Turner creeped her out.  But I guess the idea of another rock junket with moi sounds tempting, cuz she proceeded to ask when , how much, where? I said, you do realize first we'd have to fly to Florida, then not to mention the cost of the cruise itself. Pretty sure this thing would be out of my price range.

The first 4 I can almost guarantee you'll hear........

Undertow ~ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHGv5FCS2j8
Green-tinted Sixties Mind ~ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqIZ1eKjBVY
Take Cover ~ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omic-ZxMdo8
Alive and Kickin' ~ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRAQNPlx0GY

LOL this last one, just cuz it's one of my faves, encompasses almost everything I like about MB........ great playing, great underlying bluesy feel, E's passionate vocal delivery, those vocal harmonies, a vocal/guitar/bass jam thrown in the middle.......love that kind of stuff! :) Nothin' finer than MB gettin' their bluesy rock groove on.

Big Love ~ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDwr63QVzJA

You and your boys have a GREAT time, Linda! Gotta give me a review when ya get back.....on the whole thing! :) That's coming up soon isn't it? Enjoy your holiday!
