UPDATE

Hi folks, many thanks again for the constant supply of well wishes. Really appreciate that.
So...I managed to escape captivity and I'm now at home recovering. Knee still sore, but will take some time to come right. Antibiotics seem to be working but the big issue is trying to build up any kind of energy and stamina after being on my back for 9 days.
Will anticipate returning to work next week in some capacity and will also be sorting out the big mess that is the MRR/MRCD release schedule, not to mention news, reviews, email etc. Will keep all posted. Not rushing back as I cannot afford any further outages in 2011. The last 2 weeks have been a financial disaster for the site. Thanks again to all...except the dude who hoped my leg would fall off. No such luck. Might have got something for it on EBay.

Great to hear you're back home, Andrew. Take your time and take care of yourself. Us kids will try to play nice while you're on the mend. Promise.

Glad to hear you finally escaped prison....erm, the hospital and are on the mend. Make sure you get plenty of rest and get your strength back before worrying about anything else, especially this bunch on MR!!
