Mother Earth on a PMS rage.

Postby Uno_up » Fri Jun 03, 2011 5:31 am

So I hear they are having tornadoes and hailstorms in California today. Climate change is here. Our kids kids will grow up underground like moles at this rate. They should not have mislabeled it "global warming" fucking morons. It sounds like a U.N. fingerpainting festival. They should have called it something more realistic, like, "Run your ass off to the nearest deep hole and say good-bye to your house and neighbors". This is not an anomaly. It's the future. The planet is ridding itself of the human being virus. The problem is, we can't possibly help ourselves, so we might as well just enjoy the days of our lives in between quakes, 'canes, floods, 'nadoes, monsoons, droughts, etc. crack a cold one have some sex, watch a ballgame, tell everyone you love em." Sheeeeit. What's there coming this way in the distance, Margaret? Looks kinda like a big martini glass in the sky...."

LOL, you people really have to start using an apostrophe.

But yeah, I agree, everytime I turn on the news its more quakes, hurricanes, tornados, floods, droughts, etc. Have to say some times my little part of Canada doesn't look so bad.

I saw that on the news  Also another friend of mine in the metro area of Sacramento, CA, they were under tornado warnings last night, apparently as unusual for there as MA too!

Yeah, we had tornado warnings all afternoon out here in Sacramento area yesterday. It is very uncommon. A few were sighted in the air. Only one touched ground well to the north of Sacramento. Mostly farmland in that area, so not a whole lot of damage thank goodness. Normal weather for this area at this time of the year is dry, sunny, and very hot. We have been in the 50s with rain storms (tornados). It is still snowing in the mountains to the east and it is June. Really unheard of here. At least that I can recall in my lifetime.

It is par for the course here. Tornadoes are part of spring. Weather is something that comes and goes. I am sure all the states having them are dealing with a record year. Maybe next year next to none. I don't lose sleep, just keep an eye on the current weather and make plans accordingly. Do I crawl in the closet and pray for it to skip over, or sweat instantly from the humidity? Arkansas weather, wait 5 minutes and it will change.

It's true. The planet is purging itself of the threat, and we will soon all be extinct. Jesus is absolutely never coming back, so we might as well go out strong, doing the things we do best -- being foolish and debaucherous. I'm totally up for taking up drinking again, though I can do without baseball.

"Jesus wont come back because people keep wearing crosses !" I think that is the last thing he wants to see if he comes back. Weather wise we have felt it here too. The most rainfall on record for the month of April in recorded history. Horrible, wind storms, tornadoes way too close to home and I live new the new Madrid Fault and it has been shaking everyday. We dont feel it but there are at least. Look at how many earthquakes in Arkansas. Why is this not on the news. Yes there are small but damn. Look at how many !!! IF this fault pops they predict it will be the biggest loss of life and property in U.S. history depending on how big. Anything above a 7 and Memphis is destroyed or very badly damaged. I live in louisville, ky. We have felt quakes from this thing before but very small. An 8 might even level my city. I live very near the Ohio River and I can see the Floodwall from the end of my street. That thing kept the river out of our house. People down stream have not been so lucky as am sure you all have heard.. It is a scary time and the Earth is showing us who is boss.

I suggest any and everyone who really fears this can help by climbing the nearest multiple story structure (the taller the better) and do a swan dive into the pavement. You'll have no more worries, be helping to solve the problem and get a hell of a rush to boot. :D

Rip can move up north by me and Dan. No earthquakes in Northeast Ark. so far. We need to come down and visit you again real soon Rip! I am out for the summer. First I have to get over this stupid bite.

Sorry guys, I just don't live in fear. If I die, I die, and it is my time to see my maker. If according to you he does not exist, I live a good life and I won't feel anything once I am gone anyway. You people worry too much. Live life, love others, treat people with respect, and take reasonable precautions when danger arises. That is all you can do my friend. :D

Hell, what point is there in being scared. It isnt like there is a thing that can be done. You can be prepared but preparing for something that may not even happen in your lifetime is a bit impossible. I have earthquake insurance and I am adding flood. That is about all one can do. Have the insurance so you can pick up your life if something happens.
