I love singer/songwriters. Their contributions to music often go under the radar. Reading his bio was an eye opener. Same can be said for J.D. Souther. I never knew Souther wrote the tunes that he did for other bands like the Eagles & Jackson Brown. From "Best of my love", The Sad cafe, Heartache Tonight", New Kid in town" and many Jackson Brown tunes to go along with above. Go get "Natural History" by him. New album where he does these songs like he wrote them.
