Japan became the first Asian nation to win the World Cup, doing it with its first win against the U.S. in 26 tries.

I think the odds were 170-1 at Vegas.

Well, we should have won this one about 8-1. Japan was EXTREMELY lucky...they had NO BUSINESS winning that game.

That being said, if we had to lose to anyone, I'm glad it was the Japanese. They're brilliant, humble, wonderful people, and they've been through hell and back these past four months. Lucky in this match, to be sure, but congratulations.
