CAPTAIN AMERICA - 2nd Full Trailer

Postby Rip Rokken » Sat Jun 25, 2011 8:48 am

The new trailer is quite cool -- getting more excited about this film with every new bit they release:

http://www.mania.com/full-new-captain-a ... 30289.html

I knew they were following IRON MAN'S example by paying homage to historical variations of the costume and equipment, and now it's visible. I noted a shot in this trailer of him using the original 1940's style shield:

Also, there were pics of the costume he's wearing for the USO shows - great way to get away with working in a very classic costume look:

Here's a clip of some pretty cool shield slingin' action!!!
Hopefully they write in some Stark tech that draws it back to his glove.

And here's a link to some uber-gay Spiderman pics from Sony's retarded reboot. (Damn you Sony Pictures straight to hell)

The only thing that looks good about it is Emma Stone. Love her.

Yea! Captain America is going to be great! I really do hate the Spider-Man suit. I will see the film, but I doubt I will get over the suit.

You know if I eventually have the urge to see SM. I'll buy a ticket to a non-Sony film that starts around the same time and walk into Spiderman ver. 2.blow!

Saw Green Lantern finally. What's with all the bad buzz? While it breaks no new ground, it was damn solid I thought.

There's a thread on here about the movie. It's not as bad as a lot of people make it out to be, but they should have gone with the original ending they were going to use. Then it would've made a lot more money.

I know. I couldn't find it, so I posted in this one. The original ending sounded cool, but I was happy with this version too. Neat bonus Sinestro scene during the end credits.

Mark Strong's portrayal of Sinestro — both acting and makeup-wise — was badass. I don't think they're going to bother with a sequel, which is too bad. Sinestro could be the gnarliest screen villain since Ledger's Joker (thought we haven't seen Hardy's Bane yet).

They say they are doing a sequel, but I doubt it too. Maybe if George Miller's Justic League project every makes it off the ground, we will see Lantern fly again. GL reminded me of 1994's The Shadow. Just a solid origin story, with neat scifi trappings. And like The Shadow, it flopped too. :(

Cool! Just saw a new Captain America TV spot over the weekend that had the scene of Chris Evans knocking the heavy bag off the chain so that might have come from Captain America (maybe in a bonus scene)? Enjoyed the shots of the new uniform!

Yeah, I'm sure this is going to be the scene after the Captain America credits. Can't wait to see it in the theater!

Yeah I know. Wondering why the Hulk didn't make an appearance.

Don't know if he's going to be a villain maybe under Loki's control, or if it's going to be Loki and Skrull.

Got my CA tickets for the midnight showing though! :D
Can't wait to see the trailer first hand.

Saw the midnight showing of this last night. Pretty good flick. It's right up there with Thor. Though I think I like Thor better because Cap was hampered action wise because of it being an origin story. It was done very well though, but of course didn't have as much action as Thor. Both do a great job in setting up the Avengers though. :D

They showed the Captain America film from 1990 last night on syfy.....man did that stink! I can't believe they were going to release that in the theatre at the time! They also showed the two 70's made for tv versions. Lame as well, but more entertaining than the 90's movie one. Hope to see the new movie this weekend.

The 1980 film is a guilty pleasure of mine. I remember seeing the teaser poster in theaters at the time - just a shield against a black backdrop. I have this on DVD, as well as David Hasselhoff's Nick Fury pilot! :)

Just saw Cap today - loved it!

Fuck, I just watched a Scooby Doo episode with that fat bitch Cass Elliot and I bet it was better than these generic super hero remakes. Captain America? What's next ... Inspector Gadget?

Well, next is the third batman, and remake of the remake of Spiderman, and there's another Superman, and the Avengers with Iron Man, Capt. America and Thor.

Already? The first Spiderman movie just came out, what, less than 10 years ago?
