RIP Amy Winehouse. I pray you found God in your last moments and that you are shining in heaven.
What if she didn't? Where is she?
I'd like to believe there isn't a hell, but I have seen too much crap going on in my short time on this earth to believe otherwise. I don't know what her relationship was with God, so I am not going to judge it. I hope she is in heaven because once you're in hell it is too late.
So you believe in hell? I kinda liked Amy. Sang a good song, never hurt anyone other than herself. Let's hope she found the light eh?

I believe in God and I believe there is a hell. We have a choice. That is what I believe.
"if you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice."
just sayin'

I hope she had a belief in God and that Jesus was her savior. That is what I hope. If she didn't believe then she is in hell. THE thought of that is worse than death.

Right, so for the simple fact of not believing, with the brain, that your god gave her, she goes to hell. Would that apply to someone who is not a drug addict and who devoted their life to helping others? I'd like to know where the line is?

That's how God rolls. No booze, not even a little finger banging now and then, He'a bitter fuck.

The person in Norway was an extremist, who as far as I am concerned doesn't know God. It more than just saying I believe in God. Anyone can say I believe in God but not really believe it in their heart. If you have a strong conviction of your actions will usually follow.
What I was saying about the drug addict, sex addict, etc , is that are all worthy of forgiveness and can still come to God, but are not supposed to sin no more.. Once you're dead your fate is sealed at that point.

So basically the mass murderer can say he believed in is heart in god and he goes to heaven. The poor lamb, who wasted their talent, but hurt nobody goes to hell.
I'm wondering where I stand. I give money to charity as and when I can afford to do so. I try to be a good guy, I fuck up sometimes, but I try and make ameds when i do. I don't believe in any god. Am I going to hell?

Too many good and hurting people in the world today who were never "givethed" in the first place for me to believe that. Chalk this one up to personal, willful, and knowledgeable stupidity.
Still a shame - she was reputed to be quite a talent for the brief time she used it professionally.

I just think it is sad for anyone to get started on drugs in the first place. It usually trashes a persons life where they live each moment to be comatose. Life is not guaranteed to be good or bad for anyone. Life is life. I feel sorry for her and anyone who lets their life end so tragically.
As far as God goes, I don't believe he targets anyone to die. You stand in front of a train your going to get plowed. You do to much drugs and alcohol you going to poison your body. He also gave us common sense. I don't believe for one second he wants us in hell.
Look each believes what they feel best about. God, no God. That is a choice. But it is never a happy situation when someone dies of self abuse. It doesn't have to end in that manner.

I wasn't saying that God sends people to hell. Quite the opposite, but kind of like you are saying, there are natural laws. When we stretch our bodies too far due to abuse we sometimes break. In her case, it ended in death. I think IT IS AWFUL. Such a waste of talent. Even more so, I hope all is well with her soul.

Actually, who the fuck is left to go to heaven and are they the type of people we would to spend eternity with anyhow?
As the great Compo Simonite said (and I will paraphrase here)"If heaven's full of nothing more than conservatives, old maids and teetotalling virgins, I don't want to bloody go."
