I don't like hearing Ask the Lonely because it was one of the songs I felt JSS shined on, and I don't get feeling from Arnel. He still sounds winded and straining... but I have to remind myself that sound boards aren't forgiving.... Kelly sounded off in some of the foreigner stuff too, and he's a great vocalist!

Arnel sounded good on ATL. Range and power were fine, but enunciation was a slight issue.

He's struggling. You should hear more evidence of it throughout.

Arnel is hitting the notes ... just sounds like he needs an inhaler ...

Deen, on the other hand, is coming through loud and clear.

Good woman. Further proof that Journey are creatively brilliant and strategically inept.

A lot of background vocals are helping him out on COH for sure.

You don't hear him singing from the back of his voice? He's trashed.

I think everyone's agreed that Arnel sounds winded and tired, but I still hear him hitting the important notes, it's just not as effortless as usual.
