I've always kinda assumed the background vocals were canned ... but it doesn't sound like it now.

Reverse that and you will have said something.

And that's all that counts isn't it.

All that counts to me. I don't go to concert to hear the music perfectly. I go to hear the band LIVE. Anyone who has ever sung before an audience knows you won't be on top of every song, every note. If you don't like live, put a CD on and quit going to concerts!

Love that part ........GO Neal! Stone in Love! :D

You're right. If I was there I'd be drunk and wouldn't care. Just be enammerd with Neal's guitar playing :D :D

I hear him struggling with the tempo, but he's hitting the notes.

Exactly. That's what I meant in my first post , he elongates words that shouldn't be and throws the whole tempo off.

Hell yes they are.
It's become so obvious in the past few years; Ross and especially Neal hardly ever touch their mics. Watch Live in Manila and see how blatant it is. I hardly ever noticed in the 2001 DVD. :?

He sounded winded as hell as he introduced EOTM.

The audience was standing through the entire Foreigner set. Not so with Journey. Looked like the first 10-20 rows stood the whole show, but Journey lost the crowd with the new crap as well as SHML and a couple of the ballads.

EOTM....Piss break!!!

I like Edge Of The Moment but I just don't see why they aren't pushing songs like Someone , She's a Mystery and Anything Is Possible.

Arnel fumbled the beginning of EOTM. We need a swift recovery here, chief.

Do have to say this. You all who have posted about wanting Resonate over Edge of the Moment are correct. This one is a beer break for the crowd.

It really doesn't even rock that much harder than 'Resonate', so I don't understand Neal's mentality.

Arnel was horribly out of sync with the first chorus, lagging behind.

I was talking mainly about Deen; his voice is floating over Arnel's; others sound muddy.

I fully expect Foreigner to keep slaying Journey night in night out for the remainder of the tour...Kelly is just light years ahead of Arnel talent-wise.....

Deen's mic is always live, I'm sure.

That was a much better introduction for Lights than, "Here is a song from the album....uh.....well the song's called Lights."
