That's what they did last night. They played DSB as the last song before the encore, then came back out and played AWYWI, and that was it.

good news...recording worked minus the blip in Ask the Lonely, which I guess everyone else got also? Might be a day or two before I can sort through it, but it seems to sound good on this end.

Kind of cool of them to play back some of the live tracks from the show. I tuned in late. I take it Separate Ways was one of the first songs of the night for Journey?

Pineda sounds pretty good on that track.

It was the opener.

He was good on Wheel In The Sky and Send Her My Love I thought. Show was kind of all over the place.

Too short setlist wise. That is why I do not like these triple package tours.

Kelly's definitely got that polish. Arnel could learn a thing or two.

I didn't get that feeling at all. While I agree, Arnel needs polish, in many areas, Kelly leaves more to be desired. He did not make me want to continue to listen.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Arnel's a stronger singer, I just think Kelly's got some experience Arnel could learn from.

That's what I'm getting as well.

I've heard two Foreigner songs so far and both were perfect.

Kelly was stiff as a cigar store Indian when he started with Foreigner; I saw one of the first few shows he did; it was a mess. Since then he's had his teeth capped, got a new stylist, and somebody (Mick?) has helped him polish up the stage presence a whole lot.

Agree with both of these comments. The setlist could have been better arranged for a better flow--especially towards the end.
Also, my thought is that the headliner should play for 2hrs. 90 minutes just doesn't give enough time to play anything other than the hits you have to play.....and don't get me started on the 80 minute runtime tonight.

Yep...Going back to the Classic Rock Main Even tour with Styx and REO Speedwagon, there were a lot of great songs that they didn't or couldn't play, not to mention that I was already wiped not long after Journey took the stage.

Well, that's all about being a frontman. You can be a great singer and not have that stage thing going on. One of the reasons why I can't stand Boston's singer from Home Depot with his hands in his pockets.

Arnel gets it. Not as polished as Hansen but you can tell he knows it's not just about the vocals. He's trying. I'd never take that away from the guy.

I just heard Urgent and it wasn't very good. His voice was flat and he didn't even try to hit the original notes. "Talked" through too much of the song. A very generic rendition. But trying to be Gramm isn't easy.

I thought it sounded pretty good to me. I didn't hear any flat notes. Listening to Head Games right now....sounds great.

Worst I've ever heard Kelly to be honest. Still wasn't bad, but in person and on bootleg DVD's he's amazing. Very unforgiving stream tonight.
