Don't have that one. Last one I bought was last year the Greatest Hits CD & DVD.

Great cd&dvd, I love Triumph............but have to say, it has what has to be one of the WORST covers of Love Hurts I've ever heard, on it. Mind you I love Nazareth too, and that one IS Nazareth IMO. 8)

I'd say you were on to something, but I've been a huge fan of Ronnie Milsap, The Eagles and a few other pop country acts for the better part of 25 years. Hell, I still miss Garth Brooks.

Well, I grew up Hearing Milsap, Crystal Gayle, Mere Haggard, Conway Twitty, The Mandrell Sisters and so on. But that was more my parent's music. They had grown into that after originally listening to Zeppelin, Chicago, Billy Joel and so on. My greatest fear was that some day after I turned 30, the country switch was going to be thrown and I would end up hooked. Hasn't really happened yet. The older C/W artists still appeal to me but like other genres and artists (Journey, Foreigner, Styx) from that era, I think it's more a nostalgia thing than any type of bona fide fandom.

The originals are usually always better. :) But I though HLS did a pretty good job, but then I like his vocal tone. Speaking of Mickey Thomas, I thought he didn't do too bad of a job on the Mr Big tribute album, marked difference from the original though IMO, there is just no replacing any one part of MB, to me a noticable difference/loss in Paul's guitar, Billy's bass, and Eric's much more textured vocals.

Vocals: Mickey Thomas
Guitars: Lanny Cordola/Gene Black (solo)
Bass: Chuck Wright
Drums: Pat Torpey
