I've been waiting for this show, ever since Eric told us that he was hoping to do a tour in the U.S. and I'm going to have to miss it (damned mid-week shows!).

Hey Deb!! I Did the pass the line line at the HOB so managed to get a spot on the rail right in front of Paul Gilbert. Absolutely perfect since I'm a guitar fan. Only problem was from where I was at, I couldn't hear any of Eric Martin's vocals. Loved watching Billy Sheehan!

A bit of a sound issue, but probably only from where I was at. It was a good show, very enjoyable. What was absolutely amazing was I loved Paradox the opening band!! :? Who'd a thunk it!!

Basically, I'm learning the next time I go to a show at HOB Chicago, I will be getting a table in the back or do the 1st balcony again which is fantastic. This was the first time I've was ever at the rail at the hob, being up front has it's issues!!

Yep, probably depends where you're at, I know where we were, in front of EM's mic and a little towards Billy's side........if you listen to any of our clips, they are definitely more bass heavy, than guitar. Compared to some other youtube clips from further back. No rails at the Galaxy, so we were right at stage in front of Eric's and Billy's amps/speakers or whatever those black boxes are on the floor there at the stage edge. EM's vocals seemed lower when he was further back on the stage (like around the minute mark or so)....... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEjGEe6xL0U (Billy's bass is definitely more prominent)

LOL oh well, either way, I was there to see my fave band re-united and more for the whole LIVE vibe, LOL was having a great ol' time right smack in the middle of it all, And up front there is no better view of Paul's and Billy's unbelievable playing/fingerage during the solos and duets! 8)

Bad news for me. I had some things on my work schedule that didn't allow for the 5 hour too and from to Pittsburgh. At least I saw them both at M3.

My friend Mike is still going so I'm sure I'll get a report tomorrow. Sucks that I had to turn down a free meet and greet.

PG's insanely good.......... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhPaSOsFgds

LOL half the fun at the shows is watching people pick their jaws up off the floor after a Gilbert or Sheehan solo.

Fantastic shots there girl! Love the black and white ones too! :)

My absolute favorite though is this one you took of me sharing a laugh with EM. LOL not the most flattering angle (head thrown back in a laugh  ), but it's definitely one of my favorites! :D You rock CC!
