Poor bastard. It did say net worth though. I was pretty impressed, if it's a legitimate website.

Again, don't forget alimony.

It's not legit. Arnel would have to have been paid $150,000 per SHOW to make 15 million dollars net. I don't need to tell you how ludicris that is.

Revelation and Live In Manila revenue perhaps?

I was thinking about that. They could have made a couple of million each off of Revelation's sales, not sure what the breakdown on the Manila DVD is. They also have the Live in Las Vegas DVD, but I don't know how many units that sold. But it does seem high. I think AP was being paid a set amount for the entire first tour, which makes it even tougher to reach $15 million.

The band made 35 million dollars in 2008, their most succesful year by far with Arnel. That's before taxes, Azoff's cut, the crews cut and all the other expenses. Then you divide what is left after that between band members (which Arnel was not a complete member of at that point).
Also factor in that Arnel has said more than once that he gets paid upfront for everything.
And lets not forget that he has a manager who has him basically on loan to Journey six months a year so that guy is getting his piece also.
The Manila DVD, even at seven bucks a pop only gets the band at most a millon dollars after you factor in it sales of at least 140,000.
Journey never was the Back Street Boys or Nsync, selling two million albums in five days.
These numbers being bandied about are just too high for a band that missed the gravy years of 98 and 99 when all the boy bands/ girl acts blew the roof off of how much music acts got paid before it flattened out again five years later.
