Let me tell you what happened to me recently.I've had my share of substance abuse issues,girlfriend leaving taking the kids and walking out while every damn bill and the rent is due.Wake up the next day and the damn car won't start so now on top of no ride i'm figuring out how to not lose my damn car,house and not be sleeping with no electricity.While i'm figuring this out my son needs new shoes and my daughter needs new hearing aids which run a good 1,000 or 2,000 dollars.Have issues with my back and knees from a couple wrecks so i'm on painkillers that don't seem to work anymore so i take more and more till i run out a week early and go through horrible wicked withdrawals while dealing with all this other shit.Not many people know how hard it is once you get on that roller coaster of addiction.It is enough sometimes to where you come real close to saying fuck it all but then i think about my kids and i wouldn't won't to do anything drastic and leave them without a father.Believe me it does get to the point where you just want to give up but you can't.

I went through a whole bunch of shit 10 years ago: losing 3 friends in the span of 6 months; Psychotic boyfriend who almost gave me a nervous breakdown and then I ended up with PTSD after he left; losing jobs and then dealing with 9.11
