I love Kelly Hansen, but he really sounds nothing like Lou much like Arnel sounds nothing like Perry. They both sing those catalogs well, but the reviewers are idiots.

That's a great one as well!

I changed the Luanne clip to an earlier better one as I was checking your youtube clip out.

Not a country music C/F/G7 chord fan, but that is still cool. Never heard that before = good post.

How about "Don't Let Go" off 4? Love that song. Very poppy but with reall beefy guitars from Mick.

I've always thought "Luanne" was the one throwaway track from "Foreigner 4".

So so many good tracks on the 4 album. "Break it Up" is also a lesser known classic. Kelly is great, but not nearly as high pitched as Lou was in his prime.

I was listening to a bit of Lou's Christian album on my drive home from New Jersey this morning.

Last time I saw him perform Foreigner opened for Bad Company. Some drunk was making fun of him (pot calling the kettle black - I know) and I got into an altercation with him. He got thrown out and I didn't. :)

Lou is lucky to be alive. Shell of himself vocally, but I have nothing but respect and admiration for him. He sounds "ok". Certainly not embarassing, just very tough for him to live up to the high bar he set for himself over the years.

I love Kelly Hansen and the current version of Foreigner, but Lou is the real deal and there is something to be said for going to see him perform the songs. I'd certainly go if he plays nearby.

2-3 good tracks. Would be nice if he releases something in the mold of "Ready or Not" again.

While that's a good album and "Midnight Blue" is my favorite Gramm solo track, I've always preferred "Long Hard Look" over "Ready or Not".

"Counting Every Minute" from the "Inside Information" album, perhaps the hardest rocking song Foreigner ever did. Love that song.
