Michigan Wolverine Fans - Celebrate with DSB

Postby hoagiepete » Tue Sep 13, 2011 4:44 am

Anyone hear the post-game wrap up with Musberger and Herbstreit after the Michigan win over Notre Dame?

I'm not a big fan of Michigan, exept when they kick Notre Dame's tail, but it was awesome hearing 100,000+ at the Big House singing DSB with some help from their marching band (I think). They were drowning out Musberger, which was a further benefit.

Here is an awful youtube of it. Sounded much better on live tv. Looks like they did Oh What a Night and Sweet Caroline too. Some feel good songs to celebrate a victory.

ehhhh, who doesn't any more!!
As a Michigan person, I can say that DSB has been played at
pretty much all sporting events for many years ...
not that it isn't cool, it just is. As an "M" girl I can say that the only
good part of that game was the last 2 min (or 72 seconds)
which almost( ) made up for the crap "D" (which includes Denard for 3 quarter).
But, you know, DSB ...Wish I had been there for the "M" at night!!

I was googling for this after the game and apparently, this isn't the first time the crowd has does this at a Notre Dame Game with this particular song.
