When was the last time anyone saw Neal get this level of publicity? His name is everywhere right now. They just need to post
up a pic of the Eclipse album on all these shows, play some of it in the background and all would be good. :P

Besides Schon's name and a few mentions of Perry in a couple of articles, i don't see any benefit to Eclipse coming from this crap.

I saw three shows with this topic tonight and two of them featured Schon on guitar and Perry on one. All of them were playing DSB. Look for the greatest hits to move up the charts again. This whole thing was probably engineered with the help of Perry / Sony. When you look at how controversy sells and America seems to be enamored by it, it makes sense that this whole debacle will result in more albums sold. It's pretty sick how things work.

LOL
The first video I saw about this tonight opened with Perry singing DSB in Houston with his yellow blouse. It was not me who drug him into this, initially.

I opened MSN homepage and the bimbo was on the front. Following the link took me to a page with an article about the incident and a big FAIL in red print off to the side. All the good pub they've worked for with Arnel and now this.
What a joke.

Arnel who? Nothing like a bit of Hi Infidelity to spice up the tour.

If you start seeing reports saying she went to see Neal and Journey on tour supporting their new CD Eclipse THEN you will know this is a stunt for Journey. Until then, it's just a Salahi stunt...

Let me ask you this; is Neal even perceptive enough to see how this thing would end? (not that I think it's over or ended yet)
Really, though, WTF? At his age and with his establishment in the rock circles, I can't believe he would be a party to any of this!
He must have had a "senior" momentary lapse of judgment. If he was going to chase some pussy, I think he might have found
something in some more obscure environment or country, for that matter. He must have ingested some of that brain eating amoeba!

I love how bothered people are. Anyway, with an album - any press is good press. It wont make Eclipse saw up the charts but it will help sell a few more (and that's all I care about)

Haha! 2 thoughts:

1 - I wonder how pissed Neal is that even in THIS controversy, SP gets his press...???
2 - I wonder if SP is sending 'cease & desist' papers to the news outlets, telling them to keep his good name outta this cluster???

His behavior has always been impulsive when it comes to his personal life. He does stupid shit and always has. I'm guessing most of the public who doesn't follow the band will probably just chalk this off to typical rock star behavior though.

Warren County is the next county over to me, and I work in Front Royal. The girl I share an office with lives about a mile from the winery. I can't believe this isn't HUGE news where I am, but honestly no one has talked about it at all.

I just posted this upstairs

This keeps getting better..........

http://www.tmz.com/2011/09/16/tareq-sal ... nOcUew2B40

Tareq Salahi has officially filed for divorce, and claims he has been humiliated in the extreme by Michaele and her lover, Journey guitarist Neal Schon, who stooped so low that he sent Tareq a picture of a penis.

According to the legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Tareq is citing adultery and abandonment as the reason for the divorce.

Tareq says in the papers, "the paramour [Neal] sent to my email account ... a email with an attachment of a penis" -- presumably his.

Tareq blasts his wife, claiming, "She continually exposes our friends and acquaintances to her adulterous relationship and has flaunted the same throughout the community, the nation and indeed the world, and thus caused me to suffer great harm, humiliation and embarrassment."

Tareq says his wife has been banging Schon "for a period of months."

And he also blames the band, claiming Journey has been paying for her travel accommodations and other expenses.

Tareq says the couple has a prenup.
